RELATED RP BLOGS: DARLENE 🔮: Butch's past partner in crime; a powerful witch who spends her time recruiting otherworldly and supernatural beings to join 'her cause'. Lowkey a cult leader. { ♪ } -- Lost was an understatement. She'd wandered farther than usual, allowing herself to take a little bus to a different town and just. Walking. Wandering. She would eventually call her sister and ask for a ride home, sending her location on her phone and everything, but for now she was just exploring. Still, she offered a brilliant grin.

"I mean, yeah, I am lost! I'm just wandering, though. If y'wanna help, I would love help getting somewhere to grab a bite to eat. I've done a lot of walking. I'll even buy you a plate, too, as thanks."

Bella knew well enough to keep herself set with cards and hidden cash, so there was no real worries about buying him food in return. Hands found her hips, the lightest jacket she owned covering her arms and shoulders while leggings covered her legs. She was certainly a sight in the heat in such a getup, even with her hair pulled all up into a bun on the top of her head. At least everything she wore was lightly colored rather than black or dark blue.

"It's getting a bit hot as well, so taking a break is probably a good idea."

Never one to turn down the prospect of free food, Butch is all the more eager to lend a hand.

"Well, sheee-oot! Consider it done, darlin!" The cowboy extends a hand out towards her, offering to help hoist her up onto his mighty mare. The blonde horse he's mounted upon shifts some where she stands, eyeing the stranger curiously.

"I'm a bit'f a wanderer m'self but it is a bit dangerous out here, s'pecially fer an average jill like yerself. I saw a homey lookin' diner jus' a town over on mah way here f'yer a fan'f homemade food. 'Less ya got somethin' else in mind f'course!"

Butch was just about to stuff that cookie into his mouth when the other snatches it right from his grasp. His eyes snap to the vampire and his brows furrow in an immediate flare of annoyance. This cowboy had some level of food aggression.

"Hey, ya brat! Give that back right now!" The cowboy swipes at the cookie, smacking it out of Louie's hand in the process. Better on the floor than in this guys stomach!

“Listen, I understand gettin’ in a tizzy ‘bout bein’ treated like yer stupid ‘cause yer young but c’mon. Have ya even looked in a mirra?”

“ Oh, goths are creatures of the night, after all! I can stand being outside much better after dark. I credit my ghoulish glow to moonbathing since I was fifteen. ” [ she preens confidently, black - manicured fingers tapping her cheek. ] 

“ ... I could see swimming in a lake, but camping out seems like a real stretch for a gal like me. I need my ring light and my vanity! My plush duvet and satin sheets! And mosquitos have their way with me if I'm out for too long, I'll tell ya. ”

"Goths...?" Butch parrots curiously. "S'that whatcha call it? Must be some kinda... different breed'a human. I'll bet yer nocturnal too, huh?" He thinks he understands now, if her mentioning moon bathing as opposed to sun bathing told him anything.

"L'right, then. I'm keen on campin' anytime t'be honest with ya!" What started out as a suggestion seems to have become a whole plan in his head! "An' I know jus' the place where th' stars n' moon 're th' brightest! 'Sides, it ain't blisterin' outside jus' yet an' it'll be even cooler after dark so ya don't melt. What d'ya say, eh--Oh! I ain't even know yer name yet, do I?" The cowboy can't help but laugh at the fact that he had forgot to ask.

"I'm Butch! What d'they call you, Ms. Moon?"

"I hardly lived in the south, why do I get a southern accent around you?!" Pout pout pout. (She gets very twangy... lmaoo)

Lord help him as this creature has been rambling for the last ten minutes about Jaws . Seeing as VCRs weren't a thing for his folks what better way to experience than exposing him to the best summer blockbuster , right before summer .

Butch hangs onto her every word with a look of awe, impressed by the existence of a sea creature capable of causing so much mayhem to land mammals. That’s right, he was only half paying attention when she said it was a movie. The cowboy is under the impression that this actually happened, still quite new to modern (and not so modern) technology, at least as far as moving pictures go.

“Wait, wait—yer sayin’ there’s a big ol’ blood thirsty fish that killed all these people an’ it’s still out there!? What’re we even doin!? We oughta go find that thing an’ make it eat its own teeth!”
