God, I’m not even really part of the SPG fandom anymore, but give me a moment here.

There’s a lot of discourse over him. He’s a friend of Isabella’s. We used to talk A LOT. Some of you may not like what I’m about to say, but a new friend has informed me of something that I’m not okay with.

We were friends. We almost never talk now.

Why?

Not because of him. Because people in the fandom saw his friendships with me and other users and decided they didn’t approve.

Lock’s blog was IN CHARACTER. KAY? KAY. He had an old, creepy, broken down fanbot that raided others for parts. His entire internet persona was based around Lockbot. I can tell you this, extensively, from personal experience.

We had a friendship that spanned over a couple months and I can SWEAR to you that nothing you all are accusing him of was ever true. He was not “preying” on me. Our conversations were talk about robots, music, or mindless sarcastic banter and teasing. He declared himself a sort of fandom “uncle” and to this day I address him as such because it’s fitting.

If you all could pull your HEADS out of your ASSES, maybe it’d do best to listen to all these “””””VICTIMS””””” when they tell you outright that Lock is a guy, in-character, acting with other characters, and what you’re seeing is FICTION.

And what you’re NOT seeing, is innocent sass. NO inappropriate comments- well, okay, a LOT of them, because, it’s Lock, but none directed AT any minors or significantly younger friends- no reason for worry, nothing. I wouldn’t come to the defense of someone, friend or otherwise, if they made me as uncomfortable as you’re trying to paint him.

I swear to God, you all just want a reason to fight. I was one of the youngest people, if not THE youngest, that he befriended. He even befriended my MOTHER. Shut your uneducated shitholes and stop accusing him over shit you don’t know the first thing about. This is why I backed out of the fandom.
