I’ve mentioned my mauve/mauve project and I did finally get all the dragons I wanted, so i think it’s time to talk a little about them :D I’d been imagining them as a big farming family within Florabrisa so I’m excited to see them all starting to come together!

First we have Videlicet (Viz for short), an old fae who is considered the matriarch of the family! Viz has always been close to nature and enjoying the fruits of her labor. The snapper is Lodico, Viz’s twin sister! Lodico was never very interested in rigorous farming work, preferring going into education and studying in different parts of Sornieth. Despite their different lives, Viz and Lodico always remained close, Lodico never staying far from Viz for too long. Viz never had kids of her own, but Lodico had a few and Viz played a large role in raising them, making sure they at least had a chance to be part of the farming legacy Viz wanted haha

Selkirk the obelisk is Lodico’s youngest child! Selkirk isn’t 100% sure what they want in life yet, but they love Florabrisa and are happy helping their aunt around the farm for now. I’m not 100% sure about the status of Lodico’s other kids (Pompey and Metto). I actually have them still but since I just used them purely to breed the dragons I wanted I never got attached to them and don’t really need them but can’t quite bring myself to let them become fodder either sdgfd we’ll see what happens.

and then next we have Otisco (pearlcatcher) and Harmony (tundra)! Lodico’s grandkids through Metto. They are farmers though I think Harmony is a lot more into it than Otsico who might take more after Lodico haha

and lastly we have Pompey’s triplets - Scriba (obelisk), Scio, and Albion (tundras)! I’ve got Scriba all done, but haven’t figured out what I wanna do with the tundras yet. Scio got Opal from his mom which was a cool surprise!  Their other genes are all up in the air right now though gsfdg I only wanted one Crocodile/Mauve/Mauve so it figures after a few failed nests, three would hatch at once omggg

whew..arranging big family trees is always way harder than it should be ahaha.

but yeah here’s the tree for Viz and Lodico’s big farm family :D so many green dragons omggg

not 100% sure on everything here (the bottom row is quite up in the air tbh) and the little doodle designs are far from concrete (especially for the dragons that have since left my lair haha if you own one of those dragons and have your own unique design for them, i can change the doodle to match better!) but i just wanted to show the scope of the family! 31 dragons strong c:

14. Does your clan have any Flight ambassadors? What do they do?

Florabrisa actually doesn’t have any flight specific ambassadors - I definitely think my clan is a little too small for that (even if I have over 200 hundred dragons now haha..still that’s just a village.) but Lodico and Anattawam fill the roles of general ambassadors! Anattawam recently picked up the roll to help with potential interclan relations, and Lodico’s an older dragon who’s pretty experienced politically and is around to advice Anattawam in her new role! They’ll be the ones to do traveling so the clan leaders can keep local.

23. How does your clan educate younger dragons? Is there a scribe, scholar, or mentor? 

Florabrisa has a pretty simple school system! Lead by these three, with Credo and Siciliane teaching various all-purpose subjects (and often swapping roles when needed) and Brightsoul specifically teaching math! They teach dragons around ages 10 to 18 and make sure Florabrisa’s youth can read, write, and have general life skills and knowledge they may need c:

and there’s always apprenticeships too for young dragons with more specific interests! Keiji starting working with Moraine in the kitchen pretty young, Belisa is training under Gator as a mechanic, and Kaydeross and Margarine have trained several dragons in dairy farming!

And I’ve thought about adding a scribe, but I don’t think it’s actually needed. Florabrisa has a pretty good literacy rate, so the relatively few dragons that can’t read or write have a plethora of options if they need someone to help them out. The three dragons listed above certainly are all good choices haha don’t ask me how snappers can write

48. Has your clan gone through any unfortunate events? Tragedies, even?

Honestly, that’s a good question! I’ve kept my clan pretty peaceful. They might be due for something to shake them up adfdsa

but so far I’d say the most unfortunate things was dealing with the divorce of clan leaders Zaffre and Tamarind. It wasn’t like, really eventful or anything haha but still a bit rough and caused a bit of a stir.
