Drawings take the concept of the information bars of the library into branded info bar chocolate packaging
Second Audience: General Public on the Subway
Drawings are a playful take on the subway courtesy ads to show both how to use the library but also the unusual resources that the library offers (digital labs, and maker spaces)
The library is constructed of porous ‘information bars’- books, digital, or human - that stack and rotate to create a variety of experiences and allow for connection between the types of information. The first section diagram is directed toward two user groups- staff (Nancy) and immigrants (Boris) and uses notation to explain library program and shows paths of possible use for each user group. The second is an enlargement of an image based notation system, and the third drawing is enlarged section perspectives tell the story of the activity and interactions that happen in these different bars depending on the user.
