FINALLY! The last Logelese guardian is completed in all her glory. Let me introduce you to Xielon, guardian of Earth, aka drunk grandma.
Literally her hobbies are brewing and drinking alcohol, lazying about, giving straight-froward advice, and throwing wild parties. Nothing stops her when she wants something done and nothing moves her when she doesn’t want to do something. She and Larsigan are besties and are the two old folks complaining about the young whippersnappers.
Fun part is she gets drunk,turns into her god form and kicks the ass of the enemy. Drunk. Or goes on drunk god form rampage. OUt of all the guardians, she can maintain her god form the longest to the point she could stay in it if she wanted....but hard to find booze bottles big enough.
With the guardians done, moving on to the fallen concepts <3
The Guardian of Shadows, Eldrion! They try to act cold and brooding, all workoholic perfectionist, but they are really bad at trying to fake that sort of attitude and end up getting flustered when complimented or told they did a good job.
They are a fun character and are the protagonist of the story I hope to do with all the Loge guardians about the betrayal of the former light guardian before Minavroa. Took a while to design him as was going from ground up with this one. Gender changed as well as didn’t want stereotypical brood and dark. Love how the god form turned out <3
ANother OC doodly doo done! Working through getting the Logelese guardians down pat, so here is Balshir, guardian of water!
Balshir is a trans male, and anyone who mistaken his pronoun is going to get his foot up their ass :I Balshir is a fighter, quick to argue and anger, always feels he is right, and generally can be quarrelsome, but as a guardian he is SUPER devoted to protecting the lands and takes his duty seriously.
His true form is hamerhead shark toad. God form was hard to draw headshot for as...no neck so the head is sort of attached to the chest...which has a face... Balshir is the god form tank of the guardians.
And the team mom appears! Minavroa is the guardian of light, and the newest appointed ascended to a guardian position. The position for the light guardian had been open for a while...following the previous one’s betrayal among other things.
Mina is a passionate sort, strong and will fight everyone...but she loves cooking and hanging out with her people, helping to farm and generally being supportive and available for guidance. She is a very active guardian, doing her part to erase the bitter taste the last one left. Minavroa is the adopted sister of Tathorius and the two are close c:
....she is self conscious about her true form though...its not a pretty sight in her mind, all insect-like and what not so she is rarely seen in it. Still, tough warrioress gonna lay down the law on those that threaten her or her beautiful girlfriend <3
OC warm-up for the day focused on Larsigan’s grandson and heir apparent, Tathorius, the guardian of fire. A firecracker who loves all the menfolk <3
Tathorius has had some trouble in the past,bucking the system a few times before settling down and taking up a guardian position. Beloved by his people, feared by his enemies, he can bring the heat.

This is Larsigan, the logelese emperor and guardian of spirit. Logeleses who ascend have three forms: Humanoid, their true form (half-shift form), and god form. So gave a small doodle of all three forms here for Larsigan.

Warm-up doodle for the day c: Doing concept art for my eventual webcomic thing. Part of that concepting is the Logelese species. Now, why is it in fantasy each group of non-human races all look the same? Like humans have various races and facial structures...why do alien/fantasy races RARELY show that? 8I
So for the Loge, there are races within the species that lead to stereotypes of areas/people and differences of culture within the larger culture :)

I started with the Logelese natives of the Twisted Woods as they have a very unique/spooky look with white faces and all black wide eyes, pointed noses/long noses, and a rather long face in general. Horns that emerge are antler-esque. Coloration is very natural looking. They have clawed gloves and shoes to allow for swift climbing in the forests and prefer to keep to the canopy rather than the dangers of the wild forest floor.
Loge in general are ALL bald and all born of the earth, hence the name “spudlings” for their “children”. Mortal Loges CANNOT reproduce! They lack any sort of parts for that and as such, After ascension, where they combine with theinner god spark, they will display reproductive functions that vary greatly between individuals. Ascendedshare traits with their god spark at this point and gain mastery over their powers.
However mortal Loge are 85% of the population. 10% are Ascended and 5% are born ascended (two ascended parents having a child by natural birth rather than grown in the earth)
Loge see their adopted spudlings as gifts and are just as close of family as if they were born. most Loge happily live long mortal lives without ever ascending.
That’s about all the background you need but it is like a whole half a novel on how this all works XD;
