Sammy is all he cares about. cas is expendable and dumb and powerless and useless. none of them cared. and you are so stupid you are actaully celebrating that episode. Normally I would’ve deleted this ask because all this hate is getting really annoying but the absolutely SPECTACULAR logic fail in this just leaves me utterly baffled. Let me address your ‘points’ one by one -

dean didn’t even say he loved cas back, even at his deathbed. he didn’t CARE. This is an interesting point. So you’re saying because Dean didn’t say he loved Cas, he doesn’t love Cas. Just a tiny little flaw there though. Dean has never said he loves Sam. So it must mean he doesn’t love Sam either, because after all, he never said so! 

he didn’t try to save cas. did he try to sell his soul, to kill himself? he did that for Sammy. I don’t know what show you’re watching, anon, but Dean is not the moronic, hammy, over-dramatic idiot you think he is. What crossroads demon can bring Cas back? He’s not human. Besides, Crowley was right there. Crowley, ex-crossroads demon. If there was a deal to be had, he would’ve offered it… because Dean asked him to save Cas, remember? Did you just mind-wipe that part? 

As for killing himself.. you do realize that in ‘Red Meat’ Dean had an actual plan. He wasn’t killing himself just for funsies. He needed to talk to Billie. Guess what? Billie’s dead now! How would killing himself have saved Cas in this context?

he did that for Sammy. Yes, yes he did. Because they were viable options at that time. They aren’t here. 

Sammy is all he cares about. You know, if this was actually true, you know what Dean would’ve done? Run with his precious Sammy and his mother. Just said - “Yeah buddy, sorry you’re dying and all, but Sam’s the most important person to me, can’t risk his life.. Toodles!” and gone. Cas wasn’t keeping them a prisoner. He actively told them to go. They had a head-start. Ramiel would have killed Cas, and maybe he might have perused them, but the bunker is probably strong enough to keep him out. They could’ve tried to run.

But they didn’t. They stayed by Cas’s side- all of them, ready to die rather than abandon their family. And killing Ramiel was a fluke. If he hadn’t manifested his lance, they were fucked. He could’ve snapped their necks with a touch of his finger and there was nothing they could do. Because that holy oil circle would’ve burned down eventually.  

cas is expendable and dumb and powerless and useless. No comments here, because your hate is so palpable, it’s pointless to waste words.

Dean sold his soul for Sam. He endured years of torment in hell for Sam. He’s died for Sam, bled for him, sacrificed everything for him. He’s always, always put Sam first. Dean loves Sam undoubtedly, and he’s never said it. But there’s no need to because it’s fucking obvious, and I’m sure you agree.    

Dean, Sam and Mary were perfectly willing and prepared to die that night for Cas. How do they not love him again?

What is a straw goat? It is what you get when someone tries to use straw man arguments to make a scapegoat out of someone. It doesn't really represent the target, and might even eat itself.

(doesn't stop people from using logical fallacies / logicfails to put others down, but... the point is that it looks foolish to me, so it makes the person look foolish who is doing the putting-down. I wanted to do a picture that looks as foolish to me, as people do when they use logical fallacies... and I prefer drawing fictional creatures, over drawing people)
