@logickept ~pinksweatergettingbetter has liked for a ghostly starter...
Phoenix shut the door behind him and glanced up.
“Oh! Edgeworth. Of course not. I was just... er, tidying a little.”
He grimaced, casting a gloomy eye over the office. Somehow, he could never keep it quite as tidy as when Mia had owned it...
He motioned for his friend to take a seat on one of the two parallel couches that took up most of the main office.
“Eventful day?”
“What if you’re a fairy?”
I know you don't think so but you're totally worthy of praise and love ❤️ we all care about you!
Thank you so so much for your kind words, they really do help me and I appreciate your kindness so much. If you ever need anything, let me know, I am here if you need it too.

“I’m just pulling your leg.” Has it really been that long? He shakes his head fondly. “Nothing’s wrong. I just missed you, that’s all.” Apollo ends their embrace reluctantly, then crosses his arms in the usual Apollo fashion. The defense attorney snorts. “You worry too much, pops.”
@logickept // Starter Call:
“Oh! I see you put a new picture on your desk, Mr. Edgeworth!”
She’d always been good at catching such little details. Years spent staring at windows, exhibits in museums, and many, many picture books. Even at a glance when bringing him some paperwork, the secretary immediately noticed the new square frame sitting beside his phone.
“Someone special?”

“ Oh-...” Probably had forgotten around the third verse that he had an audience of one. The idea had originally come from the fact that after that little fiasco with nearly coughing up blood in the prosecutor’s office, that he ought to really exercise his voice with something more like singing, rather than shouting . It’d been the prosecutor’s own suggestion that he try singing in another language,something with harder syllables would help him with his articulation, and likewise, German was known for being rougher, forcing one to enunciate or to give up and try a softer language- the perfect challenge for a man who was defiant in his pursuits to better himself. But his attempts were lack luster in his own opinion. This song assumed so much emotion, and hearing the original recording made him wonder how genuine his praise should be. Hands clasp together in an unsure pause as he chuckles at the prosecutor clapping for him. “ I have been- I thought I would give it a shot at least once, and if I could prove you wrong, it was worth the effort.”
“...But really- I’m sure I sound flat. I’ve scared Mikeko twice at home. ”

“It’ll help if you talk it over with someone.” And the only ‘someone’ who was here was him. “Then maybe your brain will quit overworking itself and you’ll be able to sleep.” Even though they couldn’t talk about any cases, a simple conversation with a friend could do wonders for de-stressing.
“Come on, Edgeworth. Lay your problems on me. I’ll see if I can help.”
