Logan had been sneaking into Hadley’s room for weeks now. Whenever the boys came home, which was almost every other weekend, Logan would wait for Elijah to fall asleep and then venture over to Hadley’s room instead. It all started after the first time he slept over and Hadley couldn’t sleep and neither could Logan. They bumped into each other in the kitchen and ended up talking until the sun started peeking over the horizon line which was Logan’s cue to get back to his rightful spot in Elijah’s room. The next time he came over, he knocked on Hadley’s door and she was still awake so they spent the night listening to Mumford and Sons on vinyl and Logan made Hadley laugh until her abs hurt. Somewhere in there, Logan kissed her and kissing turned into much more than kissing. With Logan’s promise to make it “like the first time” Hadley’s smile grew wider. She had always imagined her first time would be really romantic and special, but it ended up being generically placed in her bedroom and extremely fun. Her and Logan had an amazing chemistry that Hadley couldn’t find with anyone else. And she tried finding it with someone else on the weekends Logan didn’t come to visit. Still, nothing compared to Logan. It was probably a dangerous trap for a high school senior to fall into, but Hadley was hooked. Keeping the secret from Elijah was the hardest thing she had to do.
