I’m sure I fit every stereotype known to women….. I have always felt like I needed to be everything, to everybody. @attwomenofbusiness From cooking, cleaning, nurturing, very polite, feminine, accommodating, groomed, posed and the list goes on. Maybe even to the extreme. It’s starts to weigh you down, especially when you’re feeling unappreciated and used. I’ve felt so many things (am I thin enough, pretty enough, young enough, etc..). But you know what... God went all out when he made me and my stages of growth has been and will continue to be mind blowing. After listening to the audio book Nice Girls Still Don't Get the Corner Office I realize I don’t have to be everything to everyone. I embrace the concept of not explaining my disposition. . Truly powerful people don't explain why they want respect. They simply don't engage someone who doesn't give it to them.” Sherry Argov . #nicegirlsdontgetthecorneroffice #nicegirlsdontgetthecorneroffice101 #nicegirlsdontgetthecornerofficeloisfrankel #loisfrankel #book #bookofthemonth #bookoftheweek
