A/N: sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted, I’ve been so busy with work and applying to grad school but I got in!! Here’s a quick celebratory one shot for you freaks <3
Summary: when you’re exposed to a classified bioweapon, Loki assists with relieving your symptoms.
Warnings: p in v, unprotected sex (do not do that), creampie, dubious consent if you squint, ye olde sex pollen fic

Your fingers twisted themselves into the thick fabric of your comforter, your opposite forearm burning with the effort of mercilessly working your clit.
After damn near half an hour of desperate and fruitless attempts at achieving relief, you were ready to sob.
You knew messing around in the Tower’s lab after a full day’s work was a bad idea but you had been so close to a breakthrough in your work with Dr. Banner that you convinced yourself you could push through the exhaustion.
Until you had shattered a specimen jar and exposed yourself to whatever the hell was in it.
It started with your heart rate rapidly increasing, followed by hot flashes and an incessant throbbing between your legs.
But despite your best efforts, it would. Not. Stop.
You continued to rub harsh circles over your clit, your back arching off your mattress as that familiar tension began to build low in your stomach.
And quickly dissipated.
Throwing open your nightstand drawer, you frantically dug through it in search of your vibrator, tossing various items haphazardly out of the way before finally spotting the bright pink silicone. You switched it on and quickly started working your aching clit, biting down on your lip at the contact. Your hips undulated unconsciously as you chased a climax that wouldn’t arrive.
Tears slipped down your face, a sob escaping your swollen lips. You rubbed your thighs together as you lay there, staring up at the ceiling and ready to scream. Despite your best efforts, your body felt achingly empty and your nerves were beyond raw.
It was well passed midnight at this point and you were out of viable options.
You knew in the back of your mind who would still be awake at this hour.
Just ask him, you internally scolded yourself.
Absolutely not. I can’t.
Why not?
You paused, realizing you didn’t actually have a reason.
Gritting your teeth, you forced yourself to sit up and pull on a rumpled t shirt from your bedroom floor, hissing between your teeth at the sensation of the cotton fabric against your overly sensitive nipples. You debated throwing your underwear back on for the sake of decency but decided against it, already overwhelmed by the oversized shirt.
Slipping out of your room and into the dark hall, you made your way to the all-too-familiar door.
Knocking quietly, you rubbed your thighs together and silently begged him to answer. An overstimulated whine escaped you as your shirt clung to the layer of sweat that had gathered on your skin, your arousal flushing your entire body with heat.
Just as you were about to knock again, you heard his footsteps on the other side of the door before it finally opened, revealing his towering figure.
“Loki, I’m—“
“You caught it too?” he interrupted, his voice low and rough. The sound made your core clench.
“I— what?” you asked, your confusion adding to your frustration.
Looking up at him, you finally noticed his disheveled state. His normally sleek hair was mussed, his face was flushed, and his breathing bordered on panting.
“Banner’s specimen. It got to you as well,” he stated plainly, his dark gaze locked on yours.
Your eyes dragged down the length of his body, taking in his shirtless torso and the hardened length straining against the fabric of his sweatpants, mouth beginning to water at the sight.
Meeting his eyes once more, you nodded frantically.
“Have you been able to…?” he trailed off, his breathing growing more erratic.
You shook your head, your thighs squeezing together to contain the slickness between them.
He opened his door just wide enough for you to enter and you quickly pushed your way inside. Before you could even turn around, his hands were on your hips, pressing you flush against his chest as he walked you backward against the door, pinning you against it.
You damn near keened as his mouth found your neck, licking and sucking your overly sensitive skin. Your back arched, pressing your chest up against his, drawing a husky groan from him.
“I won’t be able to stop,” he warned, his lips brushing the shell of your ear.
“Please just give it to me,” you whined, tears beginning to gather in the corner of your eyes. He grunted and hiked your thighs up and around his hips, picking you up as though you weighed nothing before walking you to the bed.
His large form pressed you down into the mattress, his stiff cock brushing your thigh. You couldn’t help but moan as his mouth met yours, his tongue already working expertly against your own.
Your hips grinding together, you slid your hands up into his hair and pulled and felt him twitch in his pants. His hands found the hem of your shirt and yanked it up over your head, the sight of your exposed body drawing a groan from him. His head immediately dipped down to your chest to suck harshly on your aching nipples.
“Loki!” you gasped, back arching off the mattress.
He slid his free hand down to his waistband, pushing his sweats down his hips to expose his throbbing length, thick and flushed with need. He released your nipple from his mouth with a wet pop and looked down at your dripping pussy, pumping himself desperately.
“You’re fucking drenched,” he grunted, slapping his tip on your swollen cunt.
“Just shut up and fuck me, please,” you whined, lifting your hips up to give him access.
Too desperate to come up with a quip, he pulled your knees up to rest on his broad shoulders before slamming his full length into your pussy. A lewd, high pitched moan escaped your lips as his thick cock stretched you open, arching yourself up into him for the umpteenth time.
You grabbed a pillow from beside you, pressing it against your face to stifle your cries of pleasure as he thrust into you, finally starting to relieve the ache.
Reaching one hand down between your bodies, you rubbed tight circles over your clit, pussy clenching around him. He slapped your hand away, replacing your fingers with his own. You were too far gone to snap at him for it. Your eyes rolled back as his tip brushed against your cervix ever so slightly.
“Fuck-,” he grunted, his breathing heavy.
Shifting his angle, he pulled your knees from his shoulders and pressed them up against your chest and hooked his legs around your thighs, folding you into a mating press.
His hips continue to piston into your own, the new position making your vision swim and your tits bounce with every thrust.
“Holy shit, Loki,” you gasped, throwing your head back against the sheets.
That familiar tension began building in your abdomen once more, your breathing becoming shallow as he pushed you closer to the edge. His pace quickened and you knew he was close behind you.
“Breathe through it,” he instructed between grunts of pleasure, his thrusts growing impossibly deeper.
“I c-can’t, I’m gunna- ah!”
“I’ve got you, my love, just breathe. I’ve always got you.”
You did as he said, your core clenching tighter around his thick cock as his hips rolled into yours. His fingers returned to circling your swollen clit, the friction finally pushing you over the edge.
Your body arched up as you came, pussy pulsing around his dick as you cried out and tears rolled down your flushed cheeks. He groaned above you as he spilled himself inside, your orgasm only intensifying at the feeling of his hot spend coating your cunt with every thrust as he helped you ride it out.
Releasing your legs, he collapsed on top of you, his breathing deep and skin warm against yours. You wrapped your legs around him, keeping him locked in place as you damn near sobbed in relief.
Loki’s eyes met yours, the concern evident on his face.
“Are you alright, darling?”
You nodded and wrapped your arms around his neck.
“I’m okay, I just… need a second.”
“I’m here,” he mumbled softly, tucking his face into the crook of your neck.
The two of you stayed like that for several silent minutes, catching your breath and enjoying the feeling of your bodies still pressed together.
When your heart rate finally slowed, he gently eased himself out of you, leaving you feeling empty at the loss of contact. He stood and you looked up at him quizzically.
“I’m just going to get you cleaned up, I’ll be right back,” he chuckled.
You closed your eyes and allowed yourself to revel in the relief he had just granted you, your body finally relaxing.
He return with a damp cloth and began gently cleaning the mess you had made together, his hands warm and comforting on your skin.
“You know, if you wanted me to fuck you, you had only asked. Infecting both of us with alien pollen is a bit dramatic, darling.”
You threw a pillow at him halfheartedly, too spent to react to his goading.
"Nuts and grapes…" your charge had offered as you yanked a file from one of the higher shelves.
Loki had landed in the lap of the TVA six months ago and had been employed for almost two. The friendship forged between you both was rocky to say the least. However you, unlike the rest of the workers at the institute, knew how to crack tough guys like him. Loki was especially easy to pin down once you were given access to his file. A Frost Giant stolen away as a token and kept in the Realm Eternal all the while being taught to hate the very thing that he was. Throw in a dash of Odin favoring his biological son and a pinch of his mothers’ gaslighting him for his entire life and you have Loki: a classic case of teenage rebellion carrying over into adulthood despite his awful upbringing.
Oh… not to mention the raging daddy issues.
You knew what Loki needed. What he craved so desperately but never received growing up. First up was attention. Thor had stolen the majority of the limelight during his childhood and, thus, this lack was manifesting into rebellion. In Loki’s mind he had made the unfortunate connection that if he did bad things it got his parent’s attention, even when this attention was always negative. However, for Loki, attention was attention no matter what.
He also seemed to have developed quite the penchant for self-reliance. This lack of trust was no doubt spurred on by the fact that he was… you know… never told about his true heritage and was *cough* *cough* promised a throne that he would never get.
So, what did you do to combat this? Well, it was the little things. Offering your full and undivided attention when he spoke to you, never interrupting and telling off others when they tried to interrupt him, being almost completely unarmed when in his presence, et cetera.
It wasn’t long before Loki built up a tolerance for you and, soon enough, a soft spot.
You were the only one who came to his defense before he was reset. You were the only one who didn’t wave a melting stick in his face while in a room alone with him. You were the only one who didn’t dismiss his feelings when he came to work in a sour mood.
You were the only one who gave him a second chance.
It wasn’t long before you were the only one he wanted anything to do with at the TVA. When he had his weekly evals he only permitted you to administer them. When he had his interviews to begin training with the TVA he only allowed you to be in the room. He even found a way for you to sit in on his psych evals (he couldn’t quite persuade Ravonna to let you do those by yourself as well. Something about that being “not within her pay grade” and “not her responsibility”).
“No wonder you're so bitter”, you commented teasingly under your breath as you scooted past him and walked back to Loki’s desk where you had both set up camp. “We need to do something about that.”
“Do something about what?” he questioned. You couldn’t tell if he was being serious or if he was merely teasing you back.
“ We need to get some candy in you.”
Loki just rolled his eyes and breathed out a chuckle. “Are nuts and grapes not enough for you?”
You just stared at him wide-eyed for a bit.
“This is just unacceptable.”
You finally said after finding your footing. You looked around his cluttered desk for a moment and finally located a pen and scratch paper. Loki looked on as you began to scribble furiously.
“Okay-” you began. “This is what we’re gonna do. There are two main types of sweets. Baked goods, and then candy.”
“There’s a difference?” Loki questioned reluctantly as he moved to cradle his head in his hand. In your daily briefing, Loki’s psychiatrist told you that his nightmares had been flaring up this week which, you guess, explained why he seemed so tired today. All of that lack of sleep was finally catching up with him.
You made a mental note to send him home early so that he could get some well-deserved shut eye. Or, at the very least, some relaxation.
“Within the candy category there are also two categories, fruity candy and candy bars. Fruity candy is your standard “it’s imitating fruit” ordeal while candy bars-” your mouth was watering just thinking about them. “-have some nuance but their main ingredient is chocolate. Unless it’s like a PayDay or some bullshit but I’m not going to subject you to that.
When you looked up from the diagram you had drawn him you don’t think you’ve ever seen Loki so confused in the six months you had known him. He tried to speak and his mouth even got to the point of trying to mouth a sentence but nothing came out.
You just decided to continue.
“I am going to try to find a candy that you like, although they’re all pretty good.”
Finally Loki found something to say.
“What has you so infatuated with this… candy nonsense?” he interrogated, genuinely curious to know the answer.
“You’ll know why when you try it.”
Loki sat back in his chair. The pen he had been fondling was now in his mouth as he chewed on the tip. His eyes raking over you as his brows knit into… what? Confusion? Curiosity? Maybe a little bit of both. Your cheeks took on the faintest amount of color.
“Alright, I’ll bite,” he said while still leaning back in his chair. “Where do I obtain these delights that you speak so fondly of?”
You quirked an eyebrow, regaining your composure.
“Oh don’t you worry about that, I’ll bring you some tomorrow.
And so, as you set your keys down on your counter after a long day at work and an arduous hour at the grocery store trying to find various candies, you immediately began making the pièce de résistance Loki would be trying tomorrow: brownies.
Ravonna had allowed herself in shortly after you had begun the process, making good on her plans of coming over for a glass of wine.
“I’m here-”, she chirped before rounding the corner and finding you working in the kitchen.
“Ah… what are women if not made to work in the kitchen?” Ravonna jested, commenting on the absurd Earthling tradition. She had been working on a few cases of people who strayed from their timeline who, coincidentally, were all from the place Loki dubbed “Midguard” so she no doubt had some Earthly knowledge swimming around her head.
Ravonna set her bag down before allowing herself into your kitchen and immediately gravitating toward the bottle of red.
“We are but simple creatures,” you answered, playing along. You hear a pop and then the sound of liquid being poured and, soon enough, a glass is set in front of you as she takes a seat at the breakfast bar overlooking the counter you were working at.
“No but seriously, what the hell are you doing?”
“What does it look like I’m doing?” you ask with a grin as you crack an egg into the bowl. Is Loki allergic to eggs? Do Asgardians even have allergies?
“Well you're obviously making something intended for consumption but at the odd hour of nine o’clock at night.”
You snort. “Oooooh, you’re good. You should apply for that detective position that just opened up.”
Now it’s her turn to snort. “Please, applying for that position is suicide. They’ve had so many die on the job.”
“I can’t argue there.” you concede as you mix the batter. You look up for a moment from stirring to ask, “Did you know that Loki has never had candy?”
Ravonna looks up from her drink with a puzzled look.
“Yeah... he said that all they had on Asgard were ‘nuts and grapes’”.
“Weird…” she replies.
“Right?!” you exclaim, resuming your stirring of the thick, chocolatey batter.
“But you wanna know what’s weirder?”
You begin to pour the batter into a pan and beckon Ravonna to continue.
“You staying up at night to make him these damn things.”
You screw your face into a stubborn glare. “Everyone deserves to at least try a brownie” you reason, more to yourself than anyone else.
“You’ve always had a soft spot for the broken,” she sighs with a smile and a sip of her drink.
“He’s not broken-”
She immediately shoots you a look that screams “Really? You’re gonna go with that justification?”
“I’m being serious. He’s just had a rough life and I know that brownies won’t fix years of trauma but… I’m sure gonna damn well try,” you finish with determination, scooping the last ropes of batter into the bowl.
“He’s lucky.”
She answers. You give her another puzzled look. “He’s got you in his corner.”
-The next morning-
Ravonna had sent you down to floor E for the day but you thankfully passed by Loki’s desk while on your way to a meeting. As you slid the Tupperware container filled with the brownies you made last night, he looked up from his lunch with a confused look. He never bothered to venture to the cafeteria when all that was waiting for him there was an empty table so he decided that day to remain at his desk and eat.
“What the hel is this?”
He asked through a mouthful of salad. You didn’t have a ton of time and you were walking up to floor T so you merely answered his question and carried on your way.
“Brownies. A sweet that I talked about yesterday.”
As he watched your coworker steal you away, he ventured to peer into the container and my what a dreadful sight he was met with. Sure, the act of you going out of your way to deliver him a gift didn’t go unnoticed by the god but this “treat” you had left for him looked appalling. It was a hideous dark brown color with chunks of black buried within and it looked to have the consistency of wet bread.
No he really didn’t know why you went bananas over the idea of him never having candy.
That is until he tried the damn things.
Loki unlatched the plastic lid and swooped his hand in, grabbing a square of the… what did you call it again? Brownie? Nevertheless, he brought it up to his nose and inhaled.
Not bad. Let’s give it a try.
And upon first bite, Loki was in Valhalla.
It was like nothing he had ever tasted before. It was sweet enough to make his jaw tingle upon first taste but with this sweetness came a rich and creamy side to it.
What kind of sorcery…
He then proceeded to devour six more of the squares, each going down smoother than the last. Now he understood why you were so fond of your baked goods. It also only made sense that such a sweet creature like you could concoct such an addicting combination like this. This thing could have never been conceived of in the Realm Eternal by even the best chefs the palace could find yet, here you were, giving them away freely. In a way the sweets almost reminded him of you: the sweetness drawing you in but it’s richness keeping you hooked and craving more. After Loki’s ninth and final piece that the container boasted, he had accumulated not only one mighty food baby, but a bellyache to match.
I guess that’s what happens when you overindulge.
-That night-
Loki knew this was a mistake. Not only was looking up your address in the system a massive privacy violation but he has also been standing outside your door hesitating to knock for the past five minutes.
Would you think it weird if he just showed up on your doorstep?
Nevermind the fact that he wanted another brownie, he didn’t get to see you all day and was… well… missing you. He had grown so accustomed to having access to your attention, time, patience, and even your understanding so much so that when it was taken away, if only for a day, he longed for it.
Ached for it.
So, what was his solution? Well, it was simple. He would come to you asking for more treats and, hopefully, you would let him in and he would bask in the attention he didn’t get from you all day as you both chatted over brownies at your kitchen table.
Only that was crazy and you would no doubt have questions about how he found your house and oh Norns is the door knob turning or am I just imagining that?
As luck would have it, Loki was not imagining the turn of the door knob because you were now standing directly in front of him with a confused look on your face and a bag of trash in your right hand.
You looked… drained. Your hair was pulled up messily and you now had glasses that Loki didn’t know you even needed perched on the bridge of your nose. Your pajamas hanging loose on your frame that he had noticed, admittedly, more than once and bags under your eyes were quite pronounced.
Darling, what did they do to you today?
“Loki?”
“I can see this is a bad time,” he says before turning around quickly. However, he only makes it down two steps from the porch when you say,
“Wait!”
He halts immediately but doesn’t venture to turn around.
“Turn around,” you command. He slowly pivots until he’s facing you, a confused look still plastered on your features. To help lighten the mood he flashes you a fat smile.
Alright, he thinks, you caught me.
You narrow your eyes more. “What are you doing here?” you question, putting the garbage bag down, crossing your hands over your chest, and leaning against the door frame. He looks guilty as he lets out a muted chuckle.
Loki: I uh- you know…
He begins to explain but he trails off.
Is he, you ponder, blushing?
You just shrug your shoulders. No, you didn’t know why your coworker was on your doorstep at eleven o’clock at night.
Loki huffs at your lack of, what? Not being able to read his mind and know why he’s here?
“I just-” he starts, followed by a roll of the eyes.
“Do you have any more brownies?” he spits out with resignation, trying desperately to keep his dignity intact.
You immediately break into a grin and this settles his nerves.
“So… let me get this straight. I don’t remember ever giving you my address so that means you a) looked up my address in the system and b) drove all the way here for another brownie that I c) gave you a full pan of earlier today. Am I getting warm?”
Loki narrows his eyes at your teasing. It wasn’t his only motivation for coming here but you didn’t need to know that. Not yet at least.
“I suppose,” he replies through gritted teeth. “Though I’m quickly regretting it.”
You chuckle and Loki breaks out into a genuine smile.
“Oh you poor thing. I gave you my entire pan of brownies save for the one I had this morning but I did just finish up some blueberry muffins to sate your sweet tooth.”

The cavernous, dimly-lit warehouse echoed with the sounds of clashing metal and grunts of exertion. The Avengers were locked in combat with a band of mercenaries armed with advanced weaponry.
Tony was in the air, repulsor beams lighting up the darkness, while Natasha and Clint worked in tandem, their movements precise and deadly. Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir, was a blur as it struck down the enemies with thunderous force.
In the midst of the chaos, Loki stood with an air of detached amusement, casting spells with flicks of his wrists. His magic sent mercenaries flying, created illusions to confuse their ranks, and conjured barriers to protect the teammates. But Loki's magic, powerful and unpredictable, was also a bit reckless tonight.
Maybe it was the leather suit you were wearing today.
"Loki, for the love of—watch where you're aiming!" You shouted as you narrowly avoided being hit by a stray spell meant for an enemy.
Your eyes flashed with annoyance as you shot him a glare. "Are you trying to get us all killed?"
Loki smirked, eyeing you up, not taking you seriously. "Perhaps if you were more attentive, you wouldn't find yourself in such precarious positions, darling."
You scowled and ducked under a swipe from a mercenary, retaliating with a swift punch that sent your opponent sprawling.
Ugh, you hated how he always carried that stupid smirk.
"Maybe if your magic was actually useful, we wouldn't be in precarious positions to begin with!"
Loki's eyes narrowed slightly, a spark of irritation flashing through his otherwise calm demeanor. "Is that so? I seem to recall saving you from a similar predicament just last week."
"By causing it in the first place!" You shot back, dodging another mercenary's attack and taking him down with a well-placed kick.
Loki rolls his eyes and runs in the other direction. With a flick of his wrist, he conjured an illusion, making a group of mercenaries see each other as Avengers.
Confused, they turned on one another, giving the team a moment of respite. But the spell was too potent, and soon the illusion spread, affecting even the teammates.
Chaos erupted as friends and foes became indistinguishable.
"What the—" Tony exclaimed while flying over the scene.
"Damn it, Loki!" You screamed, ducking, as Natasha took a swing at you, mistaking you for an enemy.
"Enough!" Thor bellowed, his hammer smashing into the ground to create a shockwave that knocked everyone off their feet and dispelled the illusion.
The mercenaries, now disoriented, were quickly subdued.
The flight back home was quiet. Everyone was either tired, tending to their wounds, or just rethinking what happened back there.
Once you landed, the rest of the Avengers stepped down the Quinjet and walked into the building to their rooms.
"Loki, wait." Steve calls out and walks towards Loki in the lobby.
“About today—”
“Nobody died, Rogers.” Loki replies.
"That is not an achievement," You murmur to yourself loudly on purpose for him to hear while taking a sip from your favourite grey-coloured sipper.
Loki and Steve both glanced at you, with Steve carrying a hint of a smile on his face while Loki scowled and turned back to Steve.
You could tell he was not impressed.
A win for you.
Steve clears his throat, turning serious once more. "Look, what happened today was not good. We cannot work as a team if we don't know half of your tricks."
Loki grins. "Well, that's the fun, isn't it? A surprise for everyone.”
Steve raises his eyebrows. "But it isn’t helping, Lo-"
"Helping? His magic is useless half the time."
Loki shoots an eye at you when you say that, and you could tell the God wasn't pleased.
"He's showing off in front of everyone, like the arrogant ass he is." You go on, while Loki watches you with his grave, sharp eyes.
Why wasn't he replying with his usual snarky comments today?
Steve gives a light chuckle and pats Loki's shoulder as if feeling sorry for him, "Be careful next time, that's all I ask," and walks away through the corridor, leaving you and Loki to yourselves.
While waiting for the elevator, you silently stand in front of the doors, waiting for it to arrive.
Until you feel a hard pressure against your back.
The sensation is unmistakable—a solid, unyielding presence, warm and firm. Loki's chest. His closeness sends an involuntary shiver down your spine. You can feel the steady rise and fall of his breath and subtle heat radiating through his clothes.
You stiffen, unsure whether to move away or stay still, the elevator's arrival feeling like an eternity away.
You decide to say something to break the uncomfortable silence.
"Ego broken, Loki~?" You say his name in a sing-song voice.
"Do you enjoy testing my patience, mortal?" he says, leaning down to your ear.
"Someone has to keep you in check," you reply, your voice steady despite the proximity.
The elevator reaches your floor, and with a little chime, its doors open. You proceed to take a step forward to enter the elevator when his hand grabs hold of the back side of your neck and pulls you back to him.
"Careful," he almost whispers, his breath ghosting over your skin, "your tongue is going to get you in trouble one day."
You pause for a moment, feeling the tension thicken in the air, before you turn your head out of his hands to look at him. "Oh, I'm sorry, did I hurt the big bad trickster's feelings?" You taunt, your voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Maybe if your magic wasn't so unreliable, we wouldn't be in these messes. Or do you need Daddy Odin to give you some pointers on how to actually be useful?"
Loki's eyes flare with fury, and in no time he grabs your neck once again and strides into the elevator, pinning your head to the panels. His body pressed against yours with a force that left little room for doubt about his intensity.
His frame, tall and lean yet undeniably strong, exerting a commanding presence as he pins you against the cool metal of the elevator wall. You can feel the heat emanating from his body, a stark contrast to the chill of the metal against your cheek.
He was so close to you, you could smell his sultry, intoxicating smell on him.
"You think my magic is useless, don’t you..." He whispers, his breath ghosting on your skin. "I’ll make sure you regret saying that."
"I don't "think", it's a fact." You try to push him back with your elbow. “Let me go, Loki.” You say it firmly.
"Not yet, vixen." He says so, and the elevator doors shut by themselves. And with one flick of his fingers, the front chain of your tight leather suit yanked open down to the end of your belly.
Did he just–
"I’ll make sure to demonstrate how useful my magic can be." He says and looks down to notice you were not even wearing a bra underneath.
He grins at the sight, licking his lower lip. "Naughty girl." He coos in your ear while his fingers work their way to your belly.
His fingers, though possessing a hint of coldness at first, quickly warmed against your skin as they made contact with your belly. Each touch sent a jolt of electricity through you, igniting a fire that danced just beneath the surface.
"Let. Me. Go." You say, trying to stand your ground, but your attempts are futile.
"Told you no, darling." He says while his fingers trailed up to your nipples, sending a shiver down your spine as goosebumps rose in their wake.
It was a sensation that left you feeling exposed and vulnerable, yet strangely exhilarated by the raw intensity of his touch.
He slides down your suit from your shoulders, proceeding with a graze of his tongue on your skin.
"Mmm…sweet," he murmurs, sucking on your shoulder, "unlike those words you use."
"FUCK. YOU." You reply with a gruff.
Loki chuckles darkly against your skin, his breath hot and tantalizing. "Oh, darling, you will," he murmurs, his voice dripping with seductive menace. "But not before I teach you to respect a God."
He pulls down your suit lower, his lips kissing the back of your neck, followed by melty little kisses down your bareback. Despite your discontent, you couldn’t help but feel turned on by him.
As Loki pushes down your suit to your thighs, his eyes catch sight of a small tattoo etched on the inside of your thigh. The ink reads the name of your ex-boyfriend. Loki's eyes darken with a mix of curiosity and possessiveness.
He paused, his brows furrowing as he read the name inked there. "Well, well, well," he murmured, his voice a mix of curiosity and disdain. "So that’s what your little skirt was hinting at the meeting a few days ago..."
He traced the tattoo lightly with his finger, sending a shiver through your body.
So this bastard was always watching you?
You grit your teeth, anger and embarrassment flushing through you. "It’s none of your business, Loki."
He tightens his grip on your neck slightly—not enough to hurt, but enough to assert his dominance. "I know."
"But this mark... it irks me. An insignificant mortal claiming a part of you." He pinches your thigh, and you try to jerk away your leg but cannot.
You squirmed against his grip, but he held you firmly, his eyes dark and intense as they bore into yours. "Let it go, Loki," you demanded, trying to maintain your composure.
He leaned closer, his lips brushing against the tattoo. "Why should I?" he whispered, his voice a dangerous purr. "Why should I let some forgotten lover's mark go unchallenged?"
He gives you a rather harsh bite on your shoulder, trailing his lips to kiss your neck, which makes you whimper, which makes him grin.
He pulls away a bit, and with the flick of his wrists, an invisible force pins your arms above your head, securing you in place against the elevator wall. You struggle briefly, but the bonds hold firm. Loki steps back, his eyes raking over your exposed form with a predatory gaze.
Before you could retort, he bent down, turning his body against the elevator and facing you from below. He kissed the tattoo with deliberate slowness, his lips soft and maddeningly sensual.
The act was both possessive and teasing, with his tongue swirling repeatedly on the same spot that was making you crazy. You gasped, the sensation overwhelming, and a part of you hated how your body responded to his touch.
"Shh, people can still hear us, darling. Even if they cannot enter." He says placing pecks up and down your thigh, evaporating your steady facade away.
"Now, let's see what other secrets you're hiding," he murmurs, his hands sliding down to your hips. He hooks his fingers under the waistband of your panties, slowly pulling them down and exposing you completely.
You saw his eyes almost sparkle at the sight, placing a kiss on your mound, making you flinch against the metal. Where and when did your suit disappear? You didn’t know.
He leans close and starts exploring your already wet clit with his tongue. Holding your waist in his hands, he kept stealing glances up at your aroused form, watching your expressions while you gasped every time his warm tongue darted on your needy pussy.
The god had a talent for his tongue. The silver tongue.
"Are you still with him?" He murmured, pulling away his face from your pussy, making you let out a complaining whine.
He holds up his two fingers to caress your folds. "Answer."
"N-no…" You answer, your voice quivering in pleasure.
"Then why isn’t it off?" He says this, glancing at your tattoo.
"I never…Loki-"
He pushes two fingers in. "You never what?"
You shudder as Loki's fingers push inside you, his question hanging in the air, demanding an answer. Your mind races, caught between the intense pleasure and the need to explain yourself.
"I never... had the chance," you manage to gasp, your voice barely steady. "It didn't mean anything anymore. I just...fuck-forgot about it."
Loki's eyes narrow slightly as he studies your face, his fingers moving slowly inside you, curling and stroking in a way that makes coherent thoughts nearly impossible. He doesn't seem entirely convinced.
"Forgot about it?" he repeats, his voice low and dangerous. "Or perhaps you wanted a reminder of something you couldn't let go?"
"No…" You moan, writhing against the panel with your hands above your head, your fingers aching to dive into his hair.
He starts to pump his fingers in and out of you with a deliberate rhythm, his thumb circling your clit with maddening precision. You squirm, your faint moans echoing the elevator.
"Good," he murmurs, his voice a seductive purr. "Because I don't share, darling. And I don't like to be reminded of what once was."
You moan, your body arching against his touch. His words send a thrill through you, and the possessiveness in his tone both intimidating and exhilarating.
"You know I can just turn you into a pretty mannequin for me so I can do whatever I want with you…but I want to feel you squirm... to mewl... like a little prey." He says watching your face while feeling your pussy start to clench around his fingers.
"Now, let's make sure you never forget who you belong to, hm?" Loki whispers, his lips brushing against your thigh as he speaks. His mouth returns to your clit, his tongue flicking and sucking with a relentless intensity that drives you wild.
"Yeah, that’s right, just keep on making those little sounds for me." He says it with a satisfied smile curling on his lips, and he resumes his ministrations with renewed fervor.
The combination of his fingers inside you and his mouth on your clit sends you spiralling into a mind-shattering orgasm, your body convulsing with pleasure as you cry out his name.
As the waves of ecstasy subside, Loki slowly withdraws his fingers. He stands, his eyes locking onto yours. He releases your binds away and turns you to him, and his thumb caresses your lower lip as if studying it for a second before he holds you against the wall, cupping your cheek, and kisses you almost fiercely.
And gosh, you needed that. You needed that and more.
"Y/n, is that you?"
Both of you freeze to your seats when you hear Thor’s voice outside the elevator.
Loki's eyes narrow in annoyance, and he quickly glances towards the elevator doors. "Shh," he murmurs against your lips, his voice barely a whisper. "We wouldn't want to get caught now, would we?"
He continues exploring your mouth, and the kisses start spreading to your neck, tongue, and teeth, making their wild appearances every once in a while.
Until you couldn’t help it and let out a moan.
"This door is not openi- Y/n??" Thor repeats again. "Wait, let me call Stark.-"
Your heart races when Thor calls out again because of your moan. Loki’s eyes narrow, and he pulls away. "Are you doing this on purpose? Just another one of your games so we can get caught and you can have your fun?"
He gives your pussy a little slap, and you whine a no.
In a swift motion, he wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you tightly against him. You barely have time to register the shift before the air around you shimmers and the familiar confines of the elevator vanish, replaced by the opulent and dimly lit interior of a room unknown to you.
The room is a stark contrast to the sterile metal of the elevator. Rich tapestries line the walls, and candles flicker, casting a warm, golden glow. A large, ornate bed dominates the space, its dark, luxurious linens inviting in a way that makes your heart race.
Loki wastes no time. He sweeps you off your feet, carrying you to the bed with an urgency that sends a thrill through you. He lays you down gently, his gaze intense as he takes in your still-naked form. His hands trace over your skin, as if committing every inch to memory.
The air is thick with the scent of sandalwood and something uniquely Loki—intoxicating and alluring. "Now, where were we?" He purrs, his fingers tracing a delicate line down your spine, sending shivers through your body.
You can barely catch your breath; the intensity of the moment overwhelming. "Loki, what if Thor—"
"Thor won't find us," Loki interrupts, his voice a low growl. "This is my domain. No one enters without my permission."
"Now," he whispers, his lips brushing against your ear, "let us continue our little magic demonstration."
The silken sheets cool against your heated skin, and with Loki's hands everywhere—caressing, teasing, exploring every inch of your body—his touch both gentle and demanding, leaving you breathless and craving more.
"So beautiful," his voice dripping with seductive menace as he conjures a binding spell that secures your wrists to the bedposts.
You gasp, your body arching against the restraints, as Loki's mouth finds your breasts, his tongue swirling around your nipples with maddening precision. The sensations are overwhelming, and your mind is lost in a haze of pleasure and need.
Loki's mouth moves with deliberate precision, his tongue tracing intricate patterns over your breasts. Each flick of his tongue sends jolts of pleasure through your body, making you arch and writhe against the silken sheets. The restraints on your wrists keep you firmly in place.
"Loki…"
"Mhm," he hums, enjoying your squirms. But he wanted more.
He uses his powers to amplify his touch, making your nerve endings sing with heightened sensitivity. You gasp and moan, the intensity of his magic overwhelming your senses.
You can feel the magic pulsating through you, heightening your awareness of every touch and every kiss. His lips move from your breasts to the sensitive skin just below, his tongue flicking out to taste you. The combination of his mouth and his magic almost too much to bear.
His free hand trails down your body, leaving a path of fire in its wake. As his fingers reach your inner thighs, you feel a new surge of his magic, more potent and concentrated. It wraps around your thighs, making your muscles quiver with anticipation.
Loki conjures small, delicate tendrils of magic that wrap around your nipples, gently tugging and twisting. The sensation is unlike anything you've ever felt before—a perfect blend of pleasure and pain that leaves you gasping for breath.
He moves lower, his mouth leaving a trail of hot, open-mouthed kisses down your belly. The tendrils of magic follow his path, amplifying every sensation, making you feel as if your skin is on fire. You can barely think or breathe; your mind consumed by the overwhelming pleasure.
As he reaches your hips, his fingers part your folds, and you feel a rush of cool air against your wetness. His mouth hovers just above your clit, his breath hot and tantalizing.
"Tell me, darling," Loki whispers, his lips brushing against your most sensitive spot, "how does it feel to be at the mercy of a god?"
Before you can answer, his tongue flicks out, teasing your clit with delicate, precise strokes. His magic enhances every touch, making you moan and writhe against the restraints. You can feel your orgasm building, the pleasure coiling tight in your belly.
"Loki I-" He sees your upcoming orgasm and pulls away quickly, enjoying your needy, complaining moan for him.
"Not so easy, darling."
And with another display of his magic, he completely gets rid of his clothes, his disrobed body turning you on even more, the heat of need between your legs almost unbearable.
He brings his already-hard cock near your lips. "Kiss it." and you do, the light hum of satisfaction he makes making you want to absolutely suck him out rather than just a little kiss.
"My filthy little vixen," he says, eyes blazing with hunger as he positions himself between your legs. His grip tightens on your hips, holding you in place as he teases your entrance with the tip of his cock, the sensation sending shivers of anticipation through you, "get ready for your god."
He lets out a low growl, a dark and seductive sound, before slowly pushing into you, his length stretching and filling you completely. The feeling is exquisite, with every inch of him sending waves of pleasure coursing through your body.
"You feel so perfect," Loki murmurs, his voice husky with desire. "Every part of you was made just for me."
He begins to move, slow and deliberate, his thrusts deep and controlled. Each motion designed to draw out the maximum pleasure to make you feel every inch of him. The binding spell keeps your wrists secured to the bedposts, preventing you from reaching out to touch him, to claw at his back as the pleasure intensifies.
Loki's eyes never leave yours, the connection between you palpable and electric. He leans down, capturing your lips in a searing kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth with the same intensity as his thrusts. You respond eagerly, your moans muffled against his lips, your body arching to meet his.
His magic continues to amplify every sensation, making your skin hypersensitive, every touch sends sparks of pleasure through you. The tendrils of magic around your nipples tighten and twist, adding to the overwhelming pleasure coursing through your body.
"Loki," you gasp, barely able to form coherent words. "I can't... it's too much..."
He smirks, his eyes dark with lust. "You can take it, darling. You will take it. You will take everything I give you."
His pace quickens, and his thrusts become more urgent and more demanding. The bed creaks beneath you, the sound mingling with your moans and the wet, slick sounds of your bodies moving together. The pleasure builds rapidly, creating a coiling heat in your belly that threatens to consume you entirely.
Loki's hand moves between your bodies, his thumb finding your clit and rubbing in tight, precise circles. The additional stimulation pushes you closer to the edge, your body trembling with the effort to hold back your impending orgasm.
"Come for me, darling," Loki commands, his voice a low, seductive growl. "Come for your god."
His words are your undoing. With a cry, you shatter, the orgasm ripping through you with an intensity that leaves you breathless and shaking. The pleasure is overwhelming, your vision going white as wave after wave of ecstasy crashes over you.
Loki continues to thrust through your orgasm, prolonging your pleasure, his own release imminent. His movements become erratic, his grip on your hips tightening as he chases his own climax.
You can feel him throbbing inside you, his breaths coming in ragged gasps as he finally lets go, his own orgasm ripping through him.
With a final, powerful thrust, he spills into you, his groan of pleasure vibrating through your body. He collapses on top of you, his weight comforting and grounding as you both catch your breath, the aftershocks of pleasure still coursing through you.
For a moment, there's only the sound of your ragged breathing, the scent of sex and sweat heavy in the air. Loki's hand comes up to gently cup your cheek, his thumb brushing away a stray tear of overwhelming pleasure.
"Fuck, you drive me wild." He murmurs breathlessly.
"Did you like that, darling?" Loki murmurs against your skin, his voice a seductive purr. "My magic can do so much more."
You breathlessly chuckle while he traces patterns on your skin. His fingers caress down to your thigh, where he glances at your tattoo.
"We can’t have that." He says in a low voice and grazes his hand over your skin, and the tattoo vanishes. Loki’s touch lingers on your thigh where the tattoo once was, his magic leaving your skin smooth and unmarked.
"And now you’re mine."

Summary: Captain Rogers insists you master skydiving for...reasons. His choice of teacher is unfortunate.
Warnings: Mild language. Self delulu. Mutual pining. Descriptions of skydiving. Loki being a mischievous SOB. Fluff. (w/c 3.1k)
The harness loosened in your hand, excitement forgotten.
“Steve. No. Is this a joke?”
You grabbed the Captain’s arm and yanked him away from prying ears, and those sharp, cruel, inconveniently smouldering eyes.
“Someone better be about to jump out with a camera because if this isn’t a set up I fucking quit.”
Steve’s eyebrows slanted. “Oh jeez, don’t quit! You’re the only new Agent who’s made it through the—”
“You said I’d be jumping with Natasha.”
“Laufeyson’s the best of any of us…really took to it.” He brushed the back of his hair, eyeing Loki warily.
The god was standing at the other side of the hanger, his black flysuit tight and buckled. He gave the front of his harness a decisive yank, posturing, and Steve sighed.
“Look, he dropped tandem with Bruce the first few times. And Wanda. He's good at it. More than good. The best, as much as I hate to admit it.”
“Fucking...Wanda?!” You hissed. “She can levitate, Steve. Bruce can hulk himself and survive a fall from ten thousand feet…I can’t. It doesn’t even make sense that they need to learn to skydive—”
“New regulations,” Steve said, serious. “Everyone has to—”
“Are we doing this or not?” Loki drawled across the hanger.
You took a deep breath, grip tight on the harness dangling from your fist. “Please jump with me Steve. I don’t trust him..."
You opened your eyes to the sight of Captain America with one of those smug, saccharine looks that told you this really was a set up after all. Just without the TV crew.
“You’ve got to be kidding me…”
“I trust Laufeyson. He’s proved himself to all of us, and we know how far he’d go to keep his teammates safe.”
Steve shifted you abruptly to face Loki who was now draped over a plastic chair on the far side of the hanger, long legs languishing. “If you’re going to be a part of our team, there’s no room for doubt,'" Steve said. "You gotta trust him, Agent. You gotta trust yourself.”
It would be so easy to knee him in the balls.
You turned fractionally over your shoulder. “I’m reporting this to HR,” you mouthed, but Steve only chuckled and nudged you forward. Loki rolled his eyes and unfurled from the chair.
“Step in,” he ordered, gesturing to the harness in your white-knuckled hand. “Unless you’d like me to hold you to my chest all the way down. Your choice.” He released a dazzling—fake—smile.
You grimaced, threw the harness on the floor, kicked the thigh loops wider, and pulled it roughly over your arms.
Loki’s voice curled into your ear. “Allow me,” he purred. You hadn't even seen him move behind you.
It was followed by a yank as he tightened the straps on your shoulders, your back, your thighs. Loki’s hair was gathered back from his face in a low knot exposing the sharp lines of his face. Fading sunlight leaked over the hanger floor in long shadows, licking up the length of his legs like tar.
He straightened, and an ugly leather cap manifested in his hands.
“No,” you said. He jammed it over your ears and his long fingers made quick work of the fastening.
“For your protection, Agent.” His palm glowed green again and a pair of heinous goggles appeared.
You snatched them. “Where are your goggles?”
“I am a god. I need no goggles. Besides, they're hideous. You’re far more…perishable.”
You sighed, grabbing the long strap running across your chest. It was suffocating. “Let’s get this over with,” you muttered, and Loki gestured to the tiny plane waiting outside with a smirk. Your stomach dropped. “Where’s the pilot?”
“We don’t need a pilot.” He waved his fingers and the propellor at the nose of the aircraft whirred to life in a haze of emerald mist.
“I’m going to die,” you muttered, resigned.
Steve whistled from somewhere above. You glanced at him, America’s golden boy with a heart of coal, leaning over the balcony of the adjoining building. He gave you both a cheery salute. You began to unfold a middle finger before Loki grabbed your elbow and manoeuvred you towards the plane.
He climbed inside and stretched himself across the back of the tiny, vertical cabin.
“Where am I supposed to sit?” Despite the bite of encroaching sunset, your cheeks began to heat. You knew exactly where you were supposed to sit.
One of Loki’s brows twitched upward, and he gave his thighs two, short, slaps.
The world slowed, and the hum of the propeller seemed very far away. Loki’s other brow rose to join the first. “Let’s—what was the parlance?—get it over with, shall we?”
You cursed under your breath, ignoring the syrupy thump of your pulse, and crawled into the back of the plane. After a brief, humiliating fumble, you settled on top of the god’s thighs and tried not to think about how hard they were and how good he smelled. How his breath felt on your neck. How you wanted him to graze his teeth over the slash of exposed skin beneath your ear under the ugly leather cap.
With a flick of his hand, the plane door slammed.
“Loki…”
But his fingers clenched, and you watched in horror as the dashboard lit up. The airfield began to slide past the window.
“Don’t be nervous, Agent,” Loki said as the engine roared and your stomach lurched. His thighs shifted beneath you.
There was something different in his voice, or rather, absent: snark.
“We’ll be rising to ten thousand feet, which I can measure on this watch.” He moved his wrist in front of your face. “I can, of course, sense such things. But Satchel’s frigid regulations state I must wear this contraption.”
“Why do you call him Satchel?”
A small puff of amusement erupted against your neck. “It’s a long story. And not one he’d thank me for telling you.”
You shifted, hyper-aware of the slip between your thighs beneath the jumpsuit. “What happens when we get to the right height?”
“You know what happens. You’ve done everything but the act itself.”
“I know…I want to hear you say it.”
“Do you think I’ll abandon you and summon Heimdall to suck me through the Bifrost?”
Your stomach lurched higher. “I do now…”
Loki laughed again—but it was softer, sweeter. “At the risk of sounding cliché, Agent, you’ll just have to take my word I won’t.”
His word. His word was turning your cereal into sawdust. His word was positioning it so that in every paparazzi shot taken of your leaving Avengers training over the past six months it looked like he was grabbing your ass. His word was the thinly veiled jibes that made you feel like you might explode; the way his dimples flashed at the most inopportune times, and the way you were desperate to feel the texture of his black curls with your fingertips.
Focus.
There was a clunk as Loki fastened one of his harness buckles to yours.
“Seven thousand,” he murmured after several minutes, and cleared his throat. He shifted beneath you, hips lifting. It made a lance of arousal flash through your insides.
“The door will open at ten thousand feet, and you will shuffle ever-so-elegantly towards it.” You turned fractionally, catching the back end of his smirk. “Hang your legs over the side, cross your arms, arch your back, press your feet to the underside of the plane. You’ll feel my hand press against your forehead. And remember, Agent, keep your eyes open.”
“Why?”
“So you can take one last look at my impossibly handsome face before plummeting to your death, of course.”
“I hate you.”
“You don’t.” The words were velvet dipped in wine, and you didn’t correct him. If this was one of your last moments, you didn’t want to spend it with Loki knowing he was right.
“Nine thousand,” Loki said quietly.
“Why did you agree to this? What happened to Natasha?”
“Agree? Agent, I volunteered.”
Despite the sweetness in his voice, your nerves flared. “Uh—why?”
“Because you don’t trust me. And nothing irks me more than that.”
You twisted to catch his eyes; buckles on your conjoined harnesses straining. “No, it doesn’t. You love that shit.”
Loki’s brows slanted. “Do I?” he asked, the picture of innocence. “Goodness. Well… who knows why I’m doing it, then. Put those heinous goggles on. Ten thousand.”
“Loki, I swear to—”
The plane door snapped open, and you screamed.
“Goggles. Time to go.”
You fumbled with the goggles. “Loki…”
“Go. Now. Shuffle that lovely arse out of this plane, Agent, or so help me—”
“Fine!”
You scraped yourself over the small section of floor and stared out at the cloudless amber sky. It was a beautiful evening. It would be your last. You could barely breathe against the frigid air as your legs fell over the side and all other thoughts blurred.
“I have you, Agent,” Loki murmured behind you, barely audible over the thick roar of air, and out of the corner of your eye you saw his long fingers tighten around the doorframe. “Now get into position for me…that’s it.”
Your stomach dropped; heart hammering and pulse crawling in your throat like it was alive. You did as he asked, and in seconds, the flat of your feet were pressed to the underside of the plane.
I’m going to die, you thought. And then another in the backwind. I’m going to die with Loki holding me. That wasn’t quite so bad.
Not ideal, sure.
But not as bad.
Any second now, you’d be in freefall. Moments dragged past as Loki’s hard body pressed against your back, his thighs slotted at your sides, his hand cupping your forehead, pulling it back, and then….
All the breath left your lungs in one desperate gasp.
The world spun in shades of orange and fading blue and white and shards of Loki’s dark hair falling across your vision. And then, you were facing down and screaming, and screaming.
One, two, three…
Virginian fields stretching around the complex for miles stared back at you. They didn’t appear to be getting any closer as pressure forced up against your cheeks, your stomach, your soul.
Seven, eight, nine….
The compound was a dot.
Loki’s touch jabbed into your shoulder and you spread your arms; hurtling further into the vast everything below. It tasted like salt, and winter frosted mornings, and somehow the unmistakeable hint of Loki’s custom cologne bit through the brittle air.
Twelve, thirteen, fourteen…
Something inside you thrashed.
The parachute should have deployed by now.
You grasped for Loki’s hand to check if he was still there—that the Bifrost hadn’t taken him—but he was, and over the howl of hurtling air, you could swear he was laughing.
Seventeen, eighteen, nineteen…
The parachute should have opened at eleven.
Twenty-one…
“Lo—” you howled against the weight of wind as the compound grew closer, and bigger. And then, you were yanked upwards.
His name strangled in your throat, and his lips brushed the tip of your ear.
“I always knew you’d be a screamer,” he said, and wrenched the parachute handle to the side. The world lurched to the right, the horizon spinning. “You can’t blame me for wanting to enjoy it a little longer.”
You kicked backward and hit his shin. “Ow,” he said, but you could hear the smile in his voice.
“You think I’m going to trust you after this? You absolute wanker.”
“Wanker? That’s a new one. I must add it to my growing litany.”
Despite yourself, you laughed. “I hate you.” Your heartrate slowed, and the countryside was bathed in shades of molten gold.
“You don’t,” Loki said, and tipped the parachute towards the compound’s inner fields.
The two of you slid to the grass and scraped to a halt in a heap with Loki’s legs spread on either side of your body. You unfastened the leather cap and goggles, and tossed them to the ground. He was smiling, one brow cocked.
“I’m waiting,” he said, and unclasped his harness from yours.
Your cheeks burned as you sat up from his chest. “Thank you, I guess.”
“For?”
“Keeping me alive.”
Loki’s smile widened. “A pleasure, Agent. You were never in any danger. And if it makes you feel any better, should disaster have struck, I would have ensured Heimdall took you too.”
He looked so beautiful like this: propped up on his elbows as the emerald green parachute swirled and settled behind him, his milky skin bathed in pink and gold, and the rumpled waves of black surrounding his perfect face like a wreath.
Oh no.
The truth smacked you in the face with sudden, pummelling clarity.
It wasn’t Loki you didn’t trust.
You didn’t trust yourself with Loki.
It wasn’t until a finger curled beneath your chin and nudged it up that you’d realised you’d been staring at his thighs. “Agent…” he murmured, like the ripple of grass.
Your breath caught as you asked, “Why did you really volunteer?”
Loki frowned faintly, his hand falling to his side and his gaze dropping momentarily to your lips. “Because,” he said, measuring himself. “I didn’t trust anyone else to keep you safe.”
You opened your mouth and closed it again, stunned.
“Oh look…” Loki observed bitterly, “Here comes Satchel.” He gave the meaty dot which was Steve jogging from the compound a cheerless wave.
And then a hand was hooked under Loki’s harness. A hand which looked very much like yours but couldn’t possibly be.
His eyes widened for a moment before your lips crushed together and he fell backwards to the grass with a muted sigh of surprise. The kiss slid into urgency; one breathless murmur to the next. Your fingers slid into his tangled hair, memorising the texture of each strand, memorising the taste of his tongue and the warmth of his need.
“Agent…” he murmured into your mouth, before nudging you upright just as Steve crested the hill.
“Golly—that was a tight drop, Laufeyson. Great for stealth ops, but I sure imagine your partner didn’t appreciate it, huh?” He eyed you nervously, forcing a chuckle.
Loki’s saliva was still wet on your lips.
“I trusted him,” you said, meeting Loki’s smile with your own. And beside him, Steve beamed. He extended a hand and helped you up from between Loki’s legs with a wobble. “I’ll stay and help with the chute,” you added, brushing yourself off. “It’s fine, honestly.”
Steve looked dubious.
As he disappeared down the hill towards the compound, Loki rose.
“Audacious, Agent. You must truly trust me after all—how do you know I won’t ravish you under the gathering dark?”
His eyes were spreading pools of mischievous darkness; only slim sapphire rings on the edge of black.
“I’m counting on it,” you said, before the two of your stumbled backwards into a sea of rippling green.

A/N: wow, look at cue being disgustingly self indulgent
/
You’ve just gotten yourself another coffee. Sat back down behind your laptop.
“Wow.” Loki mutters flatly.
“Hm?” You prompt, only half paying attention to him, lips too busy pressed against your mug, eyes already running over the page again. You rack your brain for possible adjustments.
“Oh, nothing,” he brushes off your half-assed curiosity, “only starting to see your parents might’ve had a point.”
Loki sets the bait flawlessly, the corner of his lips tugging with barely contained amusement at what he’s just started. Of course, that comment gets your attention immediately. You set the beverage on the table, narrowing your eyes at him across the room.
“Excuse me?” You say sharply, straightening in your seat.
Ever the sensitive one. Loki didn’t even make his point yet, and your voice is already slipping into a warning tone, trying to intimidate him into backtracking.
He won’t. You should know better than that by now.
“You’ve practically emptied the whole cupboard of the mugs.” Loki props his head on his palm, remaining factual and strikingly calm as he observes your reaction from the couch.
He gives it a good two minutes before your temper comes out to play.
Despite Loki’s prediction, you dismiss him with a roll of your eyes, returning your attention to your keyboard as if the matter is hardly worth your time.
“Baby, I’m a writer, it’s what we do.” You mumble half-heartedly, backspacing on a sentence that just isn’t working anymore and cursing the editing process in your head.
“Mmm, ah yes, writers… the species that dirties heaps of mugs.”
You slam your laptop closed.
There she is, Loki thinks. You’re finally giving him the proper attention for the talk he’s trying to have.
Domestic bliss is rarely natural and it sure can’t be maintained if this matter isn’t resolved soon.
First you complain it’s unfair he gets to use magic to do chores, making him do it the mortal way. And then you start piling up dishes like there’s no tomorrow. Oh no. Loki is not playing this game with you.
Loki loves you dearly. He also loves not spending forever doing the dishes.
“Okay. What is your problem?” You scoff. You’ll never finish editing if he keeps interrupting your train of thought every few seconds. “You know I drink a lot of coffee.”
“And what exactly prevents you from doing so out of one mug?”
“If I was in a coffee shop they’d bring a clean mug each time.” You cross your arms.
Petulant. Like a child. Such is your nature, and it amuses Loki.
When it’s not aimed at him.
“Well, you’re not. You’re at home, where you refuse to do the dishes, and your god has been suffering.” Loki complains. You narrow your eyes at his whining tinged tone.
“Darling. I am tired of dishwasher duty. There’s two of us. The dishes say there’s at least seven people living here.” He deadpans.
“Ohmygoddddd, I’ll use one mug if it gets you to let me finish this in peace.”
“That’s all I ask.” Loki says softly.
The tension between you dissipates. You bite your bottom lip.
“Love you,” you mumble, eyes searching his expression for reassurance. It’s not like this was a fight, but the whole thing put you somewhat on edge.
Loki smiles, disappearing in front of your eyes and reappearing behind your seat. He leans down to press a kiss to your hair.
“I love you too,” he murmurs into it.
“Remember. One mug.” Loki says before he’s gone, leaving behind empty air. You swat at it anyway.
What a menace.
–
In theory the one mug thing goes great. You wash it out, reuse it… Except… Something about this method doesn’t quite work for your brain.
Particularly the memory part. As in memorizing exactly how much coffee you’ve had.
The next day Loki watches you as you bounce your leg while working. It’s not something you usually do. The god has observed you enough times where he knows your typical movements when you write; rubbing your face, pushing back your hair, readjusting your sitting position… But never this.
You told him you were starting a new chapter, and Loki wonders if you’re anxious because you’re self imposing another ridiculous deadline, but your face doesn’t show any of its usual signs for nervousness. You look focused, like you don’t even notice what your leg’s doing.
Once Loki realizes he might not be able to pinpoint what exactly is going on, he decides to inquire about it.
“Darling?” He asks gingerly.
“Yes, baby?” Your head shoots in his direction with lightspeed.
Loki grimaces as he quickly theorizes what’s going on with you, the fast reaction can only mean one thing – he suspects you went overboard with caffeine again. His theory is confirmed when he tunes in with his magic to listen to your heartbeat.
Your poor heart is working overtime, pounding in your chest way faster than it has any business to.
“How much coffee have you had?” Loki narrows his eyes, frowning at the thought of you treating coffee as meals. Again.
“Uhmmm,” you look at your mug thoughtfully, mentally trying to run through each time you’ve gotten yourself your writer fuel that day, “you know… a few… Not a worrying amount.” Avoiding eye contact you add a quiet: “Probably.”
Your memory is blurring together. Was it two or three cups of coffee?
You had tea first and then switched over… Was it three with the tea? You think this is your second cup of coffee. A little voice in the back of your head wonders if it’s possible that it’s really the third and you’re completely blanking.
“Yes, but how many?” Loki cocks an eyebrow at you.
“What are you, the coffee police?” You huff, refusing to look him in the eye and choosing to use the laptop between you two as a shield.
“You don’t know, do you?” Loki sighs, starting to feel guilty because he knows your memory tends to be flaky. He more than likely caused this issue with yesterday’s complaint.
“What? Don’t be silly. That would be implying I can’t count.” You laugh nervously, avoiding admitting your memory troubles.
“If so, then give me the number.” He challenges.
You hesitate.
“You forgot, didn’t you?”
“It blurred together.” You groan, shoulders slumping in defeat.
“Perhaps one mug wasn’t such a bright idea.”
“Maybe not.” You shrug.
“I think I’ll handle your coffee consumption from now on.”

It's early when you wake up. The kind of early where everything is still a hazy blue—the sky, the sheets, the light spilling through the bedroom windows. Still, quiet, and untouched by the harsh reality daylight brings.
It's been six weeks since you last saw a minuteman's baton—eight since you escaped the TVA and their unjust claims. You found this safe house two days ago, somewhere in between 1952 and a time neglected from their supervision. Every passing minute presses down on your chest with a sense of impending doom—a death sentence.
You push these spiraling thoughts into the back of your mind and exhale through your nose, shifting under the protection of the sheets. You're warm. Not from the covers, but from him.
Loki's arm is draped around your waist, his chest pressed to your back, the steady rise and fall of his breath moving through you like the ocean tide. His palm rests just beneath your ribs, long fingers relaxed but steady. You don't open your eyes, you don't need to yet.
All of the feelings from last night surface to the forefront of your mind, dusting your cheeks in a warm pink, a smile spreading across your face. The velvet slide of Loki's voice, the ghost of his mouth at your jaw, the space between you gone. It still doesn't feel real.
Loki's hand shifts—slow and absentmindedly—grazing the bare skin of your stomach. You hum softly, just loud enough for him to hear. He stirs behind you, but doesn't speak right away. His nose brushes the curve of your shoulder, and his breath is warm against your skin.
"Still here?" He murmurs, voice slightly rough with sleep. You respond with a soft mhm, and he holds you a little tighter. "Good."
Eventually, you shift beneath the sheets to turn around and face him. You're met with a sight that makes your heart nearly swell out of your chest.
Loki's hair is a mess, his eyes soft. His left cheek presses gently against the pillow, but he doesn't seem to mind. It's the most human you've ever seen him—no walls, no tricks. Just Loki.
You smile. "You're staring."
"You're breathtaking," he says softly. You blink, taken aback by his unexpected reply.
He lifts a hand and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, the backs of his fingers brushing your cheek like you're something fragile.
"You say that like you mean it," you whisper. He leans in, forehead resting against yours. "I've never meant anything more."
You let your fingers rest on his chest, right over where his heart beats. It's quiet under your hand, but there. Steady. Real.
"Last night didn't feel real," you murmur. His lips quirk. "That's because you kissed me first."
You scoff, laughing into his throat. "You kissed me."
"I distinctly recall restraint," he teases. "You, however, were quite—"
You pinch his side gently and he gasps. "Alright—I yeild."
"God of Mischief, brought low by domesticity," you say mockingly.
"Mmm." His voice turns soft again. "Don't tempt me to keep you in this bed all day."
It's said like a joke, but his fingers find your hip beneath the blankets, his thumb lazily brushing the soft skin below your waist. The touch is slow. Intentional. Not exactly pushing. Just... asking.
Your body answers before your mouth does, curling a little closer. He exhales through his nose, pleased. And then he kisses your temple—slow and reverent. The kind of kiss that doesn't ask for anything back. You close your eyes in admiration.
His hand doesn't move right away. Just rests there, palm warm on skin. You feel him breathing against your collarbone now, the slope of his body fitting to yours like it was made for this—made for you.
His voice, low and brushed with sleep:
"May I...?"
You nod before he finishes. And maybe that's the dangerous thing, you suppose, because he second you say yes, he buries his face in your neck. You feel his mouth there—soft, open, barely grazing your skin, like he's studying the shape of you by touch alone. Like he wants to memorize you.
You tilt your chin instinctively, giving him more access. And gods, does he take it—not with a greedy heart. A sinner worshipping his divine creator.
He kisses the spot just beneath your jawline. Then lower. A trail so faint you'd think you imagined it if not for the way your breath falters. You feel his lips curve up against your skin.
"So sensitive," he murmurs. "You talk too much,” you quip. His laugh settles somewhere deep in your chest.
He shifts, then—presses you onto your back with care, like the weight of him might break you. But his body hovers instead, propped on an elbow, the blanket slipping lower. You feel his gaze sweep over you.
Loki looks down at you like you're some relic he was never meant to find, let alone hold. His hand grazes your ribcage, eyes searching your face. "Is this alright?"
You nod again, slower this time. "Yeah."
He kisses you—this time deeper. But not rushed. His mouth moves with purpose, like he's trying to tell you something through it—something language can't carry. You feel it in the way his hand curls at your waist, in the way his body tilts toward yours like he can't stand the distance. Your fingers knot into his hair. His breath catches when your knee brushes his hip, your legs no longer careful.
Nothing about this is frantic, it's deliberate. Laced with something slow burning, something whole. It's about wanting. Wanting to be close enough to feel each other, enough to stop pretending this connection is fragile.
You kiss him like you're allowed to. He kisses you like he never expected this to be real.
Your legs tangle.
His fingers tangle in your hair.
The world disappears a little. And maybe that's why it feels so good—because in this stolen stretch of the morning, nothing exists but him.
And you.
And the quiet between.
But then—his hand stills. His breath catches. You open your eyes.
Loki's just staring at you. Not lust drunk. Not quite overwhelmed.
You blink. "Is everything okay?"
His voice comes soft. Barely audible. "I think this is the first time I've touched someone... without wearing a mask."
That settles between you like something holy. You reach up, fingertips skimming his cheek, as if checking for some imaginary mask settled over his face. "You're not wearing one now?"
He shakes his head, a single chuckle escaping his lips in a huff of air. You kiss the corner of his mouth, so gently it's almost a promise.
"I like you like this," you whisper. A small sound leaves him—something like relief and disbelief wrapped into one. His forehead lowers to yours, his breath shaky.
"If we stay like this," he says, "I won't ever want to leave."
"We don't have to yet."
"But we will."
You nod. "I know."
Another kiss—this one slower, longer, full of everything you can't say yet.
He lifts his head, just enough to see your face. And you see him too—really see him. There's heat in his eyes, but there's also awe. There's something almost... sacred in how carefully he holds you. Like he doesn't know how the universe has allowed this. Allowed you.
His hand moves—gliding up your side with reverence. He learns your shape by touch, not out of lust, but devotion. Like a scholar memorizing scripture. Like you're sacred.
Your breath hitches when his palm finds the curve of your breast. You arch slightly into him, wordless encouragement. And that's all it takes—he exhales through his nose again, tension slipping from his shoulders as though you just gave him permission to exist.
You pull him closer. Not for heat, but for nearness. For communion.
When his hand skims higher, it's with infinite patience. Testing, retreating, returning. He explores like someone who's never been allowed to before—never wanted to so much. The hunger is there, but it's tempered by something older. Something deeper. Respect. Devotion.
Your lips meet again. Slower. Messier, this time, but still soft. You feel the way his body begins to shift over yours, but still he waits, hovers, one arm braced above you, one hand steady on your ribs, grounding himself in your breath.
Then, when your hand finds the back of his neck and your legs pull him in—then he moves.
His hips meet yours in a hush of heat. The intimacy is staggering and you both go still. Just for a moment, to just feel it.
Your heart. His breath.
The sheer weight of being known.
You tilt your chin, mouth brushing the line of his jaw. He groans—quietly—and buries his face in your neck, his lips finding your pulse point like he needs to feel that you're real.
"Okay?" he breathes.
You nod. "Yes. Yes."
So he begins to move. Barely. Just enough for steady paced friction, for rhythm, for the slow ache of closeness to bloom into something fuller. It's sacred and quiet and breathtaking all at once. His breath fans hot across your throat. Your hands press gently into the muscle of his back, skin to skin.
You rock together, wrapped up in nothing but body and soul and shared breath and something you don't dare name. And even as your bodies climb, chasing the hush of pleasure through the press of hip and thigh and reverent touch—still, Loki watches your face. Still, he slows when your eyes flutter. Still, he kisses you like a vow.
When you reach your release, it's not thunder. It's sunlight. It's everything that's been buried between you finally allowed to breathe. You unravel completely beneath him, and he joins you.
After, he lowers himself beside you slowly, as if the earth might drop out from beneath him if he moved too fast. When he pulls you into his arms again, you let yourself be held. His hand rests flat on your back, the other pressing against the warmth of your flushed cheeks. You can feel his heart, still racing.
You don't say anything for a long time. You just breathe—you just are. When he finally speaks, its out of reverence.
"I never thought it could be like this," he whispers, mouth against your temple.
You turn your head, eyes meeting his. Your lips brush his with a touch as soft as heaven.
"Me either."
Notes: hey guys I really hope you enjoyed this was my first time ever writing something “freaky” I won’t do this often but when I started writing this I was ovulating and I just find something so spiritual and artistic in sensuality and hopefully you guys will see this more as art than smut 🥲 anyways ily so big (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.゚
Summary: Loki and you have finished a mission but he's furious with how reckless you were with your own safety.
Warnings: Implied smut at the end and Loki being super protective of you
A/N: This is neither of the two fics I'm supposed to be working on but here we are lol. I've been binge watching all of the Mission Impossible movies and there is a line in the third movie that stood out to me (I put it in italics for anyone who's curious)... I wasn't sure if I wanted to use it for Loki or Director Fury but I went with Loki so here it is! I hope you all like this super short little fic! 💚💚💚
Smoke rises from the abandoned Hydra base, the ground shaking under your feet as another explosion rips through the building. Running through the densely packed trees, there's no need to look back to know you're protected, the green haze of Loki's magic follows you both between the trees, shielding you from possible debris and shrapnel.
You can hear the sound Loki's heavy leather boots on the crisp snow right behind you. The Asgardian could easily out run you but he never would, the god purposefully slows his pace to let you lead the way out of the forest. The freezing wind stings your face but you keep your head up and facing forward in the hopes that you can avoid looking in Loki's direction for as long as possible. You can only imagine how disappointed and aggravated he must be with you after how badly you screwed up.
He hasn't said a word since you were chased through the empty base by a wall of fire and smoke you had set into motion. Loki's magic held back the heat and flames until you threw open the metal door and escaped into the snow and wind. Once he felt you were a safe distance away, he released the fire and the explosion tore through the base.
After running for what feels like forever, a relieved smile spreads across your lips when you finally see the edge of the clearing where you landed the jet nearly two hours ago. You risk looking over your shoulder at Loki, the excitement you feel immediately vanishes when you see the expression on his face.
You sigh heavily, your breath visible from the cold air as you slow your pace to a brisk walk. A shiver runs up your spine and you pretend it's because your tactical suit isn't made for these freezing temperatures but you know it's because Loki has moved to be next to you and you doubt you will be able to out off this conversation until you land at home.
"We're back at the jet, cap," you inform Steve and the team back at the Tower.
"Glad you made it out safely, that was a rough one, huh? The weather report looks a bit dicey so we're sending a new flight path to the autopilot. Come on home guys," the super soldier responds through your earpiece.
"We will not be leaving quite yet Captain," Loki says in a stern tone, you can feel his piercing gaze even as you stare at the snow at your feet.
You turn to look up at the tall god, hoping an apology will help calm him, "Loki, I'm-"
"You triggered the explosion in the base well before you were instructed to," Loki states, leaving no room for arguing not that you were going to because you both know he's right. You were supposed to wait until you were outside, deep in the woods before you set off the chain reaction that would demolish the base but you hadn't and you didn't honestly have a good excuse.
"I thought-" you say but he doesn't give you the chance to finish your sentence.
"No, you didn't think, that much is very clear," he says and you bite your lip anxiously. "I mean honestly, did you even listen during the mission briefing yesterday? Or maybe you just think orders and directives don't apply to you, is that it? Do you have any idea what could have happened to you if I hadn't been there to shield you from the initial blast?"
"I-" you barely make a sound as you lift your head.
"Don't interrupt me when I'm asking you rhetorical questions," he says, his eyes locking on yours.
You put your hand over your mouth, trying to silence the nervous giggle that threatens to escape.
"This is not funny," he says, his anger fading as concern swiftly takes its place. "You could have been seriously hurt, or worse Y/N... you can't be this reckless," his hand lifts slowly to cup your cheek.
"I know," you look down again as his thumb strokes your skin. "I'm sorry, I forgot the stairwell at that East end of the base had been blocked. I should have waited until we were both clear."
"Yes you should have," he agrees in a much calmer voice.
"Good thing I had a really hot overly protective god to keep me safe though, right?" you say with an overly exaggerated grin.
"You truly are an insufferable little mortal," Loki says with a deep sigh but you can see him fighting to keep from smiling.
You giggle, "That's not what you called me last night... or in the shower this morning."
He lets out a light chuckle and shakes his head. Just as he opens his mouth to respond you hear Steve in your ear, "Um guys, we can still hear you."
"Thank you for not telling us sooner captain," Loki says with an eye roll and you take the distraction as an opportunity to place a light kiss to his cheek. He raises an eyebrow at you and says, "We're getting on the jet now, we will inform you when we get closer to the Tower."
Once Steve acknowledges him, the trickster removes his earpiece and smirks at you, "Get in the jet, darling. We will continue this discussion in private."
You bite your lip and turn to walk towards the jet, thick clouds of smoke still visible over the tree line behind you. You remove your own earpiece when you feel Loki's hand move to your lower back, "I really am sorry."
He closes the rear door with a loud thud that echoes through the empty jet. "You can apologize for making me worry on the flight home," he says while you engage the autopilot. "We have roughly three hours until they will expect to hear from us again." You giggle when Loki takes a seat and motions for you to come to him.
I hope you liked this!! Please like, share and comment if you did 💚💚 Please let me know if you want to be added to my taglist!
Summary: In the events of Infinity War, Loki did not die in the hands of Thanos; he lived out the rest of his life in New Asgard. How could a small party at the X-Mansion possibly change everything? Or could someone change him?
The Avengers and The X-Men were not always on good terms. It is a complicated dynamic, but they do share something in common: they are different and save lives. You, however, see the main difference. The Avengers were merely coworkers who get together when danger arises, while The X-Men are always there for each other; you were all a family.
But tonight is going to be different. You just feel it.
“Are you sure inviting the Avengers here…would be the best move?” You asked as you sat in the book nook beside the window at the X-Mansion, staring through the far buildings of New York. Holding Pride and Prejudice in your left hand as your right hand scratched your neck.
“Sure it is, and if the Hulk gets mad, we wouldn't have a place to stay anymore.” Peter Maximoff joked while running fast towards you as he stopped right in front of your book.
“Don’t be like that.” You hit his chest with the book playfully. “No, what I meant was that, would it be awkward? Would we still feel like an outsider even at our own home?”
Peter stopped eating his box of Twinkies as he raised a hand to share his thoughts. “You know what, don’t even respond to that; I do not want to know the answer.”
You have met the Avengers; well, to put it on a more serious note, you’ve fought with them back in Sokovia with your sister Wanda and your brother Peter. But even if they offered to share a helping hand, the X-Mansion felt more like a family rather than the Avengers HQ.
“I have no idea how Dad is okay with all of this,” You questioned in disbelief as you put down the book and stood up from the book nook.
“Well, Charles put in most of the persuasion for the plan; you know how he is on wanting to bring all of us together,” Wanda sighed as she understood what her sister meant. “It is just for one night; it is not as if you were forced to date one of The Avengers, Y/N”
“What, like Thor?” Peter laughed as he continued eating his Twinkies
“Never in a million years; never would that occur to my mind,” You answered, disgusted and perplexed by that thought.
“Well, we have to get ready. The Avengers will be here in about two hours,” Wanda brushed your hair in affection, “It is going to be fine”
“I hope so.” You desperately hoped as you held a forced smile for Wanda.
“Must I truly come to your unimportant mortal event, Brother? Loki sighed as he looked through the windows of his house in New Asgard. Moving to a new place is not an easy task, not when you’re from a palace. When he defeated Thanos with Thor and the other Avengers, this was the only home left for them; Asgard is no more, just its people, and that is home.
“Oh, you must Brother! You want to make a great impression on all of the Midgardians, especially when you tried to take over their planet years ago.” Thor insisted as he grabbed another drink of beer in his hands. “I heard that they are lovely”
“Who exactly?” Loki questioned as he looked in his brother’s direction.
“Charles and Erik! They are in charge of the X-Mansion, and they have taken care of many students–” Thor blabbered as Loki raised his hand to stop him.
“Students? Brother, are we headed to a school?” Loki’s voice lowered.
“Yes! But fear not, this is not just an ordinary school; their students are special with all sorts of powers, and they need other heroes to look up to.” Thor chuckled as he instructed Loki on what to do next, “Now come on, open a portal with the sling ring that the New York wizard gave you”
Loki sighed as he opened a portal to Westchester County, New York.
It was finally time, the day you’ve counted endlessly in your calendar. Not because you were excited, no, definitely not that, but because you were scared. Mutants have not had a great record in terms of being viewed by the public after all.
You fidget with your hand as you wear a white, subtle dress, waiting for the guest, eager to get it over with.
Then a hand held yours to stop your fidgeting. “I am not entirely open to this idea either, but it is going to be fine.” Your Dad whispered into your right ear as he smiled. People might view him as the villain, but to you, he’s just your Dad, who’s done questionable things to simply protect his kind.
“It was Charles’ idea, huh?” You smiled back.
“It is.” He sighed
“You couldn’t say no to him–” You added.
“I couldn’t,” He quickly added.
You simply smiled as you knew that your Dad could not say no to Charles.
Then the Avengers all came; it started with Steve Rogers, with Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes.
Another crowd appeared with Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and James Rhodes.
Then an entire ship came outside as Shuri and Okoye came all the way from Wakanda.
The crowd was getting too much; there were too many people, and you were not exactly the best at making small talk; that was Wanda and Peter’s specialty. It was summer break after all; the school was emptier than usual so that the formal party could happen below, and the younger students were all sleeping upstairs.
You had an idea. You could just go back to the library; nobody would know.
It had been about thirty minutes since you lay down in your book nook at the library, gazing at the city lights through the window. This is peaceful. That’s what you thought to yourself.
Then the door slowly opened.
And closed.
You quickly sat down as you heard the noise. None of the students were allowed in this certain library, so surely it wasn’t them.
You stood up and went to the railings inside the library, as you slowly looked down to the first floor.
“Who’s down there?” You asked as the footsteps stopped. “It’s bedtime, you know…you have to go back to your room—”
No answer.
That’s weird
“Fine kid, I’ll just have to see for myself–” You stopped as you looked who was down below.
The wind brushed through your hair as your dress was lit by the moonlight from behind. You held the railings inside the library as you exhaled.
The figure from below had their eyes lit by the moonlight, with the light slowly revealing who he was.
“Who are you and what are you doing up here–” You snapped as you revealed your powers, resembling a purple hue.
The figure laughed softly below as he was caught out of breath, for whatever reason it was. “Pardon me, I was simply searching for a place that was quiet to escape the madness happening below”
“You still haven’t answered my question, mysterious man”
He stepped into the moonlight as well, revealing himself as he looked up to you above; it was as if you were at the top of the tower and he was seeing an angel from below. He raised his hand above as he showed you that he was not holding any weapons of any kind.
“Who are you, Avenger…” You repeated.
“Oh dear Gods, I am no Avenger darling, however, I did arrive with my brother.”
“Don’t call me that—” You stopped him. “Wait, is your brother Thor?”
“Of Course you’d know him,” He replied.
“Loki,” You mentioned as he snapped back to look at you.
“Why yes, that is me,” He laughed as he looked at you with his hands folded in front of himself.
“Okay,” You breathed as you slowly went down to meet him face to face.
He looked at you weirdly as you held your powers down.
“What?” You added.
“You aren’t scared of me?” He asked as you went closer to him rather than running away.
“Why would I be? Because you tried to take over New Y—”
“Yes, that, but in my defense I was being mind controlled by t–”
“Mad Titan Thanos, yes, I know about that.” You stopped him.
He gave a perplexed look as he smiled. “You…just happen to know about that?”
“I saw the footages on the internet; I did the comparison on your stance and eyes. Currently, right now the shade of color is different from back then. Yes, it may just be the lighting, but I always believe that it isn’t purely your form, your physique, and mannerisms.” You defended yourself, as it was an interest of yours back then to find out what truly happened in 2012.
Loki was surprised.
Interested, in a way.
He smiled and nodded at the information. “Good research…also, I haven’t got your name”
“Y/N” you replied as you saw him extending an arm to shake. You looked at him as you slowly accepted his hand. “So you just decided to sneak through to look for a calm place to hide?”
“Yes, Y/N,” He responded.
“Fine, you could hide here until the party is over down there,” You said, accepting him slowly.
“Thank you.” he bowed his head to you playfully as he smiled. “Why are you up here anyway?”
You went back to grab a few books across the room as you replied, “First off, I live here, and I am not too fond of The Avengers”
“Well, that we have in common,” he said. “Why do you hate The Avengers?”
You went to him with a few books in hand. “I don’t necessarily hate The Avengers, Loki”
“Then what is it?” he added.
“Well, same reason as you,” you replied.
“How would you possibly know my answer?” He said while tilting his head.
“They think they’re better than everyone deep down, am I right?” You asked back.
Loki was taken aback. “Why yes, that is my reason, but how–” he stopped as he figured it out. “You’re a mind reader.” He pointed his hand to you.
“Bingo,” You said. “Ten points to Loki”
Loki laughed, voice low as he looked at her.
“Since you’re gonna be here for a while, I brought a few of Midgard’s classics to get you started,” You said. “Let me know if you have any questions”
Loki smiled when you used the term Midgard on him; she was growing on him, even if it had only been 10 minutes since they had known each other. “Should I just sit on the couch over there?”
“Go ahead, God of Mischief,” You replied as you sat on the couch in front of him.
The silence was so loud, a million thoughts running through both your minds. On the other side, it was the most peace you had both felt in a long time. Silence is normal, but what’s new is each other.
“So, why are you here?” Loki broke the silence as he still viewed the pages of his book.
“My Dad is Magneto,” You replied while sticking to your book as well.
“Ah, the metal bender,” Loki added. “Are you what they call an X-Men?”
“No, well, kind of,” You said as you looked to Loki.
He looked back at you as he asked, “Elaborate”
“I own a bookshop on Broadway, New York,” You added as it caught Loki’s interest. “I’m visiting my family for the weekend, but I don't really live here anymore. But if they do have missions, I help with the technology”
Loki smiled to himself as he asked another question, “Why don’t you help by using your powers? They do look quite…powerful”
You dropped your book as you explained. “It becomes too powerful; sometimes I can’t control it. And–” You stopped as you looked at Loki again. “People get hurt”
Loki nodded as he understood. “I understand.” He knew it was quite hard for you to say information regarding your powers, so he changed the topic. “Perhaps one day you could show me your bookstore?”
You smiled as it was such a surprising remark. “Uh…yeah, sure, I’d like that actually”
The God of Mischief was grinning at your words.
“Wait, don’t you live in Norway now? New Asgard, right?” You remembered, as you knew when Asgard moved its people to Earth because of Ragnarok.
“Yes, I do; however, it is not an issue,” Loki said. He then showed his sling ring from Doctor Strange, as he is able to open portals now.
“WHAT? How did you get that? Don’t you have to–” You were surprised by how he had possession of such an item.
“Oh, I stole it darling,” Loki said. “It was not easy, but it is worth it.”
“Of Course you did. Well, you have to give me your number so I can send you the address,” You mentioned.
“Number…yes, well, I have this phone, but I don’t really know how to operate–” Loki said truthfully.
You stood up as you walked to sit beside him. “Oh no worries, I could help you with that,” You said as you added your number to his phone.
Loki eyed your face subtly as he grinned to himself.
“Am I the other number you have here besides Thor’s?” You asked.
“Yes, I do not need people’s numbers in my phone,” Loki confessed.
“But you have mine,” You smiled as he shook his head.
“You are the exception, perhaps, since I broke into your library here unannounced,” Loki mentioned.
“Fair enough.” You smiled as the number was now saved. Suddenly, the door of the library burst open as you two heard footsteps coming. The two figures showed themselves as it was Wanda and Thor, both searching for you guys.
“BROTHER! I was searching for you; we can leave now the party is over–” Thor stopped as he saw the two of you. “Oh my, am I interrupting?”
Loki groaned at his brother.
“Y/N, is this a date?!” Wanda asked as she smiled at the door.
Loki and you looked at each other as you both laughed nervously. “N-no, it’s not. He just came here so we talked and–”
“That is wonderful news, brother, opening yourself to people and even asking her on a date–” Thor laughed as he was glad that Loki was putting himself out there.
You and Loki stood up as he replied to Thor, “Thor, enough…let’s just go,” his voice low.
“I am truly sorry about that. I was, however, asking you to meet later, have I not?” Loki said to you, his tone changing to a softer approach.
“You did,” You said to him as he was preparing to go away with Thor. “I’ll see you later, Loki”
He smiled as he grabbed your hand to kiss it. “W-Woah okay.” You smiled nervously; no one had ever done that, but you did enjoy the feeling.
“Goodbye, Y/N,” Loki said as he made his way out.
That leaves you and Wanda alone. Wanda has her hand in her house to keep her expressions down. “I know what you’re going to say–” You stopped her.
“No, no, I was wrong about you having a date with Thor, but you do have a date with his brother!” Wanda squealed as she shook your shoulder. “What happened!”
“I don’t know! But don’t tell Dad!” You pleaded with your sister, scared of what your metal-bending father had to say about this.
“Trust me, I won’t- don’t worry, not even Peter,” Wanda reassured you.
“Okay, thank you, and forget about all of this. I am going to bed.” You said as you made your way to your old room, and your sister was smiling at you.
Both you and Loki did not want to be at the party in the first place, but maybe, just maybe…
