Loki director Kate Herron offers her perspective on the various Lokis' reaction to Sylvie.
Ummm, Kate, I know you mean well and I will always be grateful to you for fighting for the bi thing-but this is probably not the best way to address this after pissing so many trans and genderfluid fans off. Though I can understand her feeling like she has to say something in the wake of Marvel’s silence. The point isn’t just the reactions of the other Lokis though-it’s that our Loki shouldn’t even have asked that question the way he did. But I will say one thing-this at least confirms what she and others have been saying in interviews-that the not all the variants are alike and not all of the non-Tom looking ones are shapeshifted it into another form. So yes, not all of them are going to be genderfluid and Sylvie supposedly is not since her file says female. However, Classic Loki is an older version of our Loki, so no it shouldn’t come as a surprise to him at all. Apparently some of them just are different than our Loki and don’t look like him. So if nothing else, no they don’t all have the same DNA; especially since Loki can shift his DNA at will. Like I’m thinking that that’s Boastful Loki‘s true form. I know this article may piss off some people, and I can totally understand why, but please don’t anyone harass her over this…. obviously polite criticism is fine but way too many people in the fandom seem to have a problem knowing what that actually is.
We could’ve had this?!?! President Loki and Boastful Loki arguing over whose magic was better? Gator Loki snarling at everyone including Alioth? Classic Loki telling everyone to shut up so he can concentrate? All the other Lokis? Our Loki and Sylvie rolling their eyes and facepalming?
All that magic and energy…Alioth wouldn’t have stood a chance.

This is adorable! I’ve got a fanfic idea for this but I’ll put it in a re-blog in the comments section because I don’t want to make this post really long. Check it out if you’re interested. I’d love to think we might get something like this in season 2, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Loki meets his Hannibal Loki Variant, who seems to have some things in common with Crocki 😁

An Explanation About The Costumes
Classic Loki on the right comes from the older Comics the original Loki was in:
In the middle is Kid Loki from the Journey Into Mystery series:
The one on the left is called Boastful Loki in the show, though I like calling him Hammer Loki. He doesn’t have an exact counterpart in the comics, but there appear to be certain traits from other Lokis that have been put onto him. For example he’s wearing one of King Loki’s outfits (from Agent Of Asgard):
But he has a hammer like Worthy Loki in 2018’s Infinity Wars series, who also had all of his universe’s Infinity Stones. (616 Loki wanted to try and steal them until he found out they wouldn’t work outside their own universe. 😁 Worthy Loki died fighting a monster).
I have no idea where Alligator Loki, or as some people have been calling him, Florida Loki came from. But he’s adorable, and clearly the superior Loki. 😆
