just had a really wonderful day with becky.
becky is my rl best friend and she and i haven't really gotten to hang out just the two of us in so long that it actually kind of hurts, because i used to live a few streets away from her and now i live like half an hour away and her car was broken and her mom won't let her drive to my house and she works a lot etc.
so this morning she picked me up and we went adventuring. we went to walgreens so i could get new eyeliner and nail polish because i lost my nail polish and was out of eyeliner. we stopped in at guitar center and i talked to a friend of mine who works there, we looked at guitar song books (becky wants to learn how to play) and i compared ukuleles.
then we went to the mall and wandered around for a bit. we got cookies and black bottom cupcakes. i bought a denim vest and i got a new earring to replace the stud in my left ear (it's a cross, i've been wearing it upside down.)
and then we went to build-a-bear to see if they still had the fennec fox i wanted and becky and i each got one. the people working were all awesome and one talked to us about american girl dolls and one asked me about my ears and stuff and it was cool. becky named hers peter and got it a spider-man costume and i named mine yodie and got it a jedi outfit. the girl who asked about my ears was talking about how she has lightsaber chopsticks.
so then we went to target and i got another star wars shirt, some hair dye, a new pair of knee-high gray socks (i lost one of mine and can't find it) and a dr. pepper so pretty much everything about today was wonderful and i miss hanging out with becky all the time. like i didn't even spend a huge amount of money and i knocked out a lot of errands and things off of my wishlist and i'm really satisfied with my existence.
