AoA Loki x Verity. I sort of hate myself for shipping it because I also want them to never get involved in canon but I can't help myself. I want him grovelling and Verity having multiple orgasms and then her rolling over and going to sleep kkthxbai.

I never hate myself for shipping anything.   I’m waaaay past the point in my fandom years where I feel any shame or remorse for shipping what I like.  >:3

That said, young Loki has a lot of pent up tension and he would wear her out quite nicely.  Its a win win really.

loki x verity (aoa loki OR king loki works). one for more lighthearted reasons and one for much darker reasons.

Oooooooh I can’t even get into my need for some King Loki/Verity darkfic.   I want to believe he remembers her, and there are some residual feelings there, both positive and negative.  Given the level of his evil though, no good will come of it.

Nerdki/Verity, probably as some weird queerplatonic thing with very ill-defined boundaries.

With Loki the boundaries are always ill-defined.

Seriously, though, when you think about it, Loki and Verity are just what one another need right now.

Verity can finally enjoy stories! She doesn't have to confine herself to physics books and programming books because oh my god that sounds like hell. Loki has centuries worth of awesome and okay terrifying stories he can tell her that she can listen to and engage with because they're all absolutely true.

Loki has someone who will be able to unreservedly believe in him as he tries to clear his name! There's no worries about not being able to trust him because he's Loki and Loki lies because he can't lie to her! He can finally, y'know, learn to be honest with people in his life, and when everyone around him inevitably turns on him thanks to Old Loki, Verity will still believe in him!
