Love me some fluff but how about some future family angst with happy ending! Maybe Caleb doesn't die but he hides in the shadows after serving a prison term, he comes back years later to get his revenge.Enters the loft, takes their kids hostage, threatens to kill them if Rick and Kate don't do what he says. Ties them all up but Kate or Rick get loose and put Caleb down for good. Scared kids but relieved parents. Doesn't have to be exact details up to author :)

Castle 8x22 series finale

You know, part of me used to be bored at the procedural cop stuff in this show.

I liked the parts when Castle and Beckett interacted because I wanted fun, and emotion and intensity.

 And well, I got it all, with all these characters.

 I remember starting to watch episodes of this show in a hotel room on vacation, and liking it a lot. So much so I went home and began to catch up on about 6-7 seasons.

 The moments of Caskett becoming canon, working through conflict, getting married, and getting through all kinds of craziness (like the female serial killer), has been quite a ride.

 they are both on the trail of LokSat, and are both fighting the good fight together.

 Castle is kidnapped and has met LokSat, while Beckett is about to walk into a trap.

 But our boys show up, and save Castle’s life, but in the end, can’t escape yet.

 Caskett, absolute badass duo, each willing to die for the other, and taking down LokSat together.

 Loved the rest of the team going out for drinks, and being happy.

 So, did they really die, or just critically injured and put in witness protection? The future flashes weren’t a dream? I’m assuming not.

 I loved the future flashes of their kids, and being a happy family. And if this show has to end, I’m grateful for a happy ending.

LokSat is vanquished, but Kate ends up having to do some time in prison. She's resigned to it (she did get the bad guy, after all) and she gets to serve somewhere low-security, with the promise of Castle taking her abroad when she gets out. Cue: Conjugal visit(s). XD

You think maybe a who the leader of loksat to be the cliffhanger like a reveal?

Nah. I think it’ll be revealed towards the end of the episode, but we won’t be left guessing as to who it is.

if anyone saw the latest epi of quantico there is a scene with Ryan and Alex where she is at his door hysterical and scared out of her mind. wanting it all to stop etc. a similar fic with Kate and Rick regarding locksat consequences. angst!
