New LoL Client coming after Season 2026
A dev update revealed that the majority of the League team have been working on:
A brand new around-game client that’s fully integrated with the in-game experience, rather than being a separate application when going into a game
A full visual overhaul of Summoner’s Rift - and gameplay changes tied to that visual update
Some changes to Runes and pre-game systems
An improved new player experience
From their wording, these changes will be coming in 2027 at the earliest. More information will be shared between MSI and Worlds 2026.
