The man who can't be moved

My lovely dear friend Lola (check out her Tumblr Blog) requested that Jeremy Ménéz One-Shot. Others are lovely invited to read it and maybe giving me some feedback.

*Jeremy POV*

The game was over and we won 3-0 in our last league game against Olympique Lyonnais. The fans were cheering – singing songs and showed how proud they are for our good constant work during the season. Though I couldn’t be happy really. My love was leaving me 1 week ago. She got a really good job over in London and I told her she should use that one chance. She may never get another. I would be waiting here forever – even when it takes many years.

I stayed quiet in the dressing room – just sent on my bench and was thinking about her. I remembered her long brown hair – her little winkles when she was smiling – the smell of her parfume. Only little things – but it really made her to my perfect sweet girl.

I have watched my team mates celebrating – I would like to join but I felt it was not right. I would wished it so much that she would be watching at least this game – and that she could be proud of me. She just got 20, but Susan was really wise for her age. I think she became an adult already as a teenager. Her parents travelled a lot and she was mostly living with her grandparents in an old little house far away from the city. I really missed her but I thought about visiting her now in my holiday. Only to surprise her.

“Mate, what are you doing? Why don’t you join us?” asked Zlatan who was just opening the second bottle champagne.

“I am not really into partying right now. I hope you understand it.”

I tried to get away from the boys but Zlatan didn’t really like it. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to the group.

“No lame excuses here. We won the title, man. Let’s celebrate with us.”

The music just started again and our trainer was joining us. I tried to get away again and could manage it. I just did not feel like having a great time while my girlfriend was somewhere in London.

The first time it was hard getting any answers to my mails. She had to find an apartment and then she was quite busy with her new job. I knew she was happy – that’s all that mattered but I would be happier when she could be here with me.

I also considered of going to an English club. So I was closer to her. I really tried to think about this through but it was probably hard because I just moved to that team this season. Let’s see how I could make the best of this situation I stuck right now.

I found a guitar close to our bench. I really had no idea how this was possible but I took it and started to play. My mum taught me how to play when I was 7 years old. It was sad that I was not able to see her much anymore – I really would like to see her how proud she was because she really could be. Many people here told me about my good talent – and that I should better watch myself – because in few years all the big clubs would send requests.

I chuckled a little about this idea. It sounds too weird though. I loved my job as a football player – but never have been really into stuff like ‘Where do I get a lot of money?’ I was happy enough to make the people happy seeing me playing. That’s all I ever wanted.

I sat down on the pitch with the guitar and when I started playing the first chords I remembered a song that I heard on the radio a few days ago. It was really fitting to my situation right now.

I heard someone clapping. I turned around and saw Thiago Silva leaning on the wall. He must have been standing there all the time. It was kind of embarrassing.

“What are you doing here?” I had to ask.

“I was looking for you mate. We have a little surprise and I think you should come.”

“I am not really into celebrating.”

I turned around again and looked to the sky. I knew that someone might is looking to the same sky as me and thinking of me. Sometimes I really could be hopelessly romantic.

“When did you start singing like this? It was great.”

“Usually I just sing in my own four walls. It is nothing big really.”

“No it was really good. Seriously if you would suck as a player you could start your own career as a musican.”

I smirked at him. Brazilian people could be so charming when they wanted to be. Music was no big talent and I just did it to calm myself or express my feelings.

“Thanks. I think I will just get my bag and go home.”

“You really miss her right?”

I felt Thiago’s hand on my shoulder. It was really kind that he was worried for me but I actually wanted to be alone in that situation. There was nothing that might have changed that. Unless a great coincidence.

“Yes I do. She is in London and I wished she would have seen that game. It would mean the world to me.”

“Then follow me to the dressing room. You won’t regret it, I am sure.”

  ‘What was he talking about?’

I had nothing else to do than following him. Then I could see why he wanted me to go the dressing room again. Susan was just standing there – smiling and so beautiful. The first thing I was doing was kissing her. How I missed those lips feeling onto mine. So good.

“What are you doing here?”

“I quitted the job in London. Seriously it was not the best for me. Maybe the money was good – but money is not important for me when the love of my life is so far away. I am happier when I am close to you and I am sure I will find something again.”

Wow. She really quitted her just because of me. I could not be blessed any better.

“You don’t have to.”

“Oh yes I had to. And now stop saying anything. We need to celebrate.”

That was my girl. I could call myself really lucky for finding this woman and I promise that I will never let her go again.

Oh god ! What happened ?

~ I posted his afghjcsgbcsdghdsr pic with his afgddghcdshkkhgt abs and it started with how obsessed I am with him (lol I can't say it's not true) and my bff said he has a hot body but his face is ugly and then I of course tell her that he's the most beautiful and hot person alive (we always have those kind of talks about him) but then my "fb friend", (who is a footballer btw) and I barely talk to with joined the conversation, saying Puyol is the one who's hot. Khm khm excuse me? You're guy! You're not 'alowed' to say that. (no offence, Lola, I have nothing against gays or something) And seriously?! Puyol?! I almost fell of the couch reading this. And then he sent me the link of all pictures with mesut and 'close enough' - those were actually pretty funny :P But I was really pissed off, I mean ... Aghhhh I respect someone's opinion I can't make them to like him but just that that guy basically commented he read all my posts about him and pictures and stuff without saying a word but now he has to say something. I mean WTF? If you don't like what I posted don't read it! Unfriend me! Just stop annoying me, because no matter what you say you can't make not like Mesut Özil. And now I'll talk to him even less that I did until then. :D
