Music softly plays in the background

“Hello? Chat? Can you hear me,” y/n laughs as she shows herself on camera. She looks around as she laughs telling someone around her to be quiet. “Okay, so I have some very special guest and…” she pulls out a little karaoke machine. “We will be doing karaoke! We are having a sleepover but we thought it would be fun!”

All the girls are singing and performing. Lara and y/n start performing ‘Give it up by Elizabeth Gillies & Ariana grande’. “Thank you! Thank you!” y/n bows as she hugs Lara.

As the night goes on Lara and y/n end up in her room. Y/n shows Lara her little music setup and Lara gasp excitedly “can we make a song!?” She looks at the brunette with a huge grin, “I mean yeah sure why not I’ve had a song ideas in mind actually…” y/n smiles and grabs the little notebook she keeps her lyrics, thoughts, etc. At the top of the page ‘pookies requiem’ is written. As y/n hands the book to Lara so she can read the lyrics she plops down on her bed.

Lara immediately grabs the computer creating a beat for this song. As she creates in her own universe y/n watches mesmerized, “I usually do this alone but you looked really focused doing this…” Lara smiles and continues. When she finishes she gives the thumbs up and hands the mic and headphones to y/n. As they were about to start recording the other girls barge in. Lola is offended at the thought of not being in one of the ‘studio sessions’ she’s always in, Rio is behind her and gives a I tried to stop her look, the other girls bunch up and sit down. All of a sudden y/n gets nervous, she’s sung in front of thousand of fans but never her friends. She takes in a deep breath and starts singing.

Megan watches with a close eye, she takes in the lyrics head tilted to the side. She suddenly feels a sinking feeling that y/n might not be over her ex, her pal s get sweaty, she keeps playing with her rings a nervous habit. At the end y/n gives acts like she’s crying over this man. As they finish all the girls start clapping and smiling.

“Holy shit that was really good!” Sophia says as she adjust her glasses. Everyone is nodding and Lara is editing the song and all the little extra notes you’ve added. It’s all sounding really good, “it’s ready to be released whenever you’re ready.” Y/n gives the green light and Lara pushes release and they just wait to see if people even like it.

Megan felt jealousy and nervousness course through her body. Was she still in love with her ex!? Did the night at the club mean anything? Megan felt like the room got smaller and got up and left….
