this is a little dumb but i’d always had the headcanon that NPC!hilbert (subway partner hilbert) lived in driftveil and rode the subway in to nimbasa every day... so his aether oniichan leaving driftveil for alola fits perfectly DFJKDFDFD
ANOTHER thought on deeprealms, from a characterization standpoint: children were put in the deeprealms to keep them safe from being attacked. Ostensibly, all the parents decided that Lilith’s castle dimension wasn’t safe enough, bc the invisible army sometimes attacked. So deeprealms were supposedly a safer option.
But then, obviously, the deeprealms proved to not be impervious to attacks??? it took like 30 seconds for the invisible army to find them!!!! so you’d think that after at a few reports of deeprealms getting attacked, parents would decide that if their kids had to be in danger regardless, they might as well stay in the camp realm closer to an army that has a fighting chance?!?!? BUT NO......
anyway, i love fates, but also i hate fates, this is terrible

Colossalcon is over! I had a fun time as always.

Went to karaoke by myself, sung in front of a room full of strangers, nearly got a standing ovation. In Karamatsu cosplay
Did an amazing split at the Friday fire emblem gathering
my tatsumaki wig looked SUPER GREAT, way better than at katsucon
I had cosplay cards for the first time and handing them out was Exciting!!!!!!!!
I had a relaxing time overall but I was also in the sun a lot and it sapped my energy. LOL. I’m almost equally excited to recover because now i can move onto sewing fire emblem costumes!!!! Yay!! IM RUNNING FOR THE HYPE TRAIN
