So last night at the university we had out annual London Met Students Union Awards night and to my absolute joy I was nominated for two categories: Unsung Hero, and the 'Shaun Wallace Award' For Outstanding Contribution to the Students' Union. By some miracle I won both! This will be my final year at university now, so to receive recognition like this in front of all the influential people at the university, my fellow students and lecturers was an absolute honour. Just to make it a little more special Shaun Wallace was only there himself to present me with the award in his honour, too! What a night.
