stalking celebrities and leaking private details has always been a thing. however, under the influence of tiktok, i have seen so many people shamelessly film people in public without permission. furthermore, they even roast them, not even thinking twice about the person's feelings. imagine scrolling through social media after a long day and seeing a stranger judge you and gain views through it. what i want to say is that if people these days don't give a damn about people walking on the street, we cannot even expect them to behave with celebs. they shouldn't, but we can't even say anything

I dont agree with this thinking that because something is "normalized" its something we have to accept that will never change. like, for example, taking pics of them at concerts of other artists. it was something that before I thought was something ok. I thought "ah, they probably know they're going to take pics of them there" but after a while I changed my mind completely. something that is a pretty easy thought to have about how often celebrities cant even have fun and let loose at the concert because they know someone is filming them. and it can often even make them uncomfortable. I also decided this week to stop sharing photos or videos of them at the airport even though it was official schedule.

there are a lot of people who have this thinking that because if they are celebrities they need to accept, learn to deal and stay quiet about these things that happen because they knew that this is how a celebrity is treated. if you go on weverse you will see (or maybe not if you're lucky) people commenting that jeongguk was rude or that he had to be nice to the person who sent him food because they did it because they "love him so much". ._. this is disgusting and scary! these people really think celebrities can't have any opinions and that they have to live for the fans. but I really believe that they can change their minds and see how wrong they are with other people talking and not accepting any more privacy invasion and disrespectful attitude towards the artists. thats why I think its something that always needs to be talked about and not normalized anymore. if something happens, we always need to talk about it and that way maybe open these people's eyes.

since we were little, we grow up having to accept some things that we dont have to accept, but they say we have to accept it because its something "normal" that will always happen. especially if we are a woman. but thats not why we're going to accept it, right? it's not because something is "bound" or "normal" to happen that we have to remain silent and not look for changes. I really hate thw thought that we have to accept that things are not going to change because they always happen.

I think we always have to look for changes even with the little we have. maybe talking about it doesnt change what happens to them but it can change the mind of someone who has these wrong thoughts. do not you agree?
