Looking for something fun to do on Saturday, February 25, 2017? Why not sign up to compete in the 2nd annual Mad Wolf Winter Relay 2017? It’s one of the best ways to have a great day in Big Sky Country. Plus the event supports the Big Sky Ski Education Foundation. What could be cooler than that?
Lone Mountain Ranch and Big Sky Resort are presenting this multi-sport event that combines downhill sports (alpine, snowboard, telemark), running, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing/fat biking into a family friendly race for all ages. Join in the fun as both individuals and teams race from the top of Andesite Mountain at Big Sky Resort down to Lone Mountain Ranch in the Big Sky Meadow.

After this wild race is completed, head to the Lone Mountain Ranch Saloon for a fun party, live music, and of course wonderful prizes for the best team, top finishers, awesome costumes, and more. It’s going to be a hoot!
Sign up with your friends, family, or teammates to compete in the Mad Wolf Winter Relay 2017. The event starts at 2pm and runs until 4pm. Before you commit, let’s take a look at what this race consists of.
HERE IS A QUICK COURSE DESCRIPTION FOR THE MAD WOLF WINTER RELAY 2017:
Downhill – Snowboard/Alpine/Tele down Hangman’s
Running – Run from bottom of Hangman’s past Scissorbills Saloon and down to Low Dog Road
Nordic – Race Past Thunder Wolf Chair onto Middle Fork Trail down to Beaver Slide and to the Tunnel
Snowshoe/Fat Bike – Head up to the Tunnel to the LMR sleigh trail, pass the Barn to the Kid’s Loop and then back to the B-K Lodge for the finish
