If Sophie isn’t the one shipping Tanya and Rosie like crazy idk what life is

“That goes one step beyond being flirty. The poor guy almost ran away from you,” Rosie said, almost matter-of-factly, before bringing another spoonful of ice cream to her lips. Just in case something else threatened to escape them. So far the evening was being fun, however, with the music in the bar and the people and Tanya flirting with every half-handsome boy that walked past their table. Rosie was just moving the spoon away from her mouth when she heard Tanya’s request, which was followed by an eyeroll and a groan from the shorter of them.
“You always do this!” She then said, her mouth still full with ice cream. Taking a moment to just swallow, Rosie then placed the spoon on the bowl and slid the whole thing across the table, until it was right in front of Tanya. “Why don’t you order your own desserts if you know you’re going to want some?” Cue a slightly grumpy glare and Rosie’s cheek coming to rest against her hand.
“ it does not, I flirt harder with you when I’m in a flirting mood ” she grinned, popping her chin upon her hand while she watched the shorter woman. Who would have imagined they would become this close? Tanya certainly hadn’t. After all, that first day of school she had imagined the majority of the time would be spent in her dorm, deep in old art books but that hadn’t been the case, not when she had run into Donna and Rosie. If there was something called friendship, at first sight, they had all experienced and she couldn’t be more thankful for it.
blue eyes sparkled with happiness when the bowl was pushed over, slowly picking up the spoon and taking a spoonful of the ice cream. This was a life worth living. She swallowed slowly, holding out the spoon towards her while the grin made it’s way back. “ Because your desserts always taste better than mine, that’s just how it works ” Eyebrows raised slightly while her eyes met the smaller woman’s, gently dipping her finger into the ice cream, she booped Rosie’s nose with it, giggling softly. “ Cheer up, grumpy, we’re going to dance later ”
“ Do you think we could have done more for her? ” the clearest answer she could figure out was a simple yes. Even if Donna didn’t admit it, she needed them both. She probably needed them even more than ever when Sophie was born. They had tried to stay for as long as they could but was it really enough? Knowing their best friend carried this secret for years, it hurt at the same time as she blamed herself. “ Been more supportive, looked after her? ”
