Heya! In regards to your latest ML PV post which talked about Chat's side - which has a clear development going on - what do you think would be Ladybug's / Bridgette's personal journey? (this is even a more headcanon-heavy route because we know less about her in terms of goals)
Ah, yes. While Felix goal is pretty much clear from the start, Marinette/Bridgette's goal is never really stated anywhere, isn't it?
But there's also a post saying that she always has bad luck following her everywhere, which is also shown in the PV where she got splashed and just smiled hopelessly at that or when she got a bitter coffee(?). So I just think that Bridgette will started as an unsure hero much like Marinette in canon but for different reason.
She's unsure because her being unlucky is so common occurence that she questioned herself :
"How can I be hero when I'm so unlucky? What if my bad luck will messed things up?"
Especially if she started first before Chat Noir appear. She's a capable fighter but she always unsure of herself, she want to help people because she loves to help, "But what if I just make it worse?"
And this is where Tikki come and give her some support.
I know Marinette and Bridgette has different personality but I always love paralel so just like Marinette, being Ladybug also boost Bridgette confidence and it's also what make her believe and see tomorrow in more positive way than before.
"Felix reject me today? It's ok! I can try it again tomorrow."
"Chat Noir said this mission is impossible? Nothing is impossible, we just need different approach!"
And... I also always see Bridgette as a kind of stepford smiler? At least at first. Because she's so unlucky and clumsy and people always worried about her, "Hey, if I can show them I'm fine then they wouldn't be worried about me, right?"
This kind of habit also change as she progress as hero with the help of Chat Noir. She started to think that "Oh, so it's okay to ask them to stop over worrying about me and I will show them that I truly fine this time."
So for Bridgette, being Ladybug is what make her grow from unsure hero to the confident hero, from the timid girl to the genki girl she is now.
"Tikki and Chat Noir trust me, so I need to trust myself too!"
I... Feel like I'm rambling here, hha. But yeah, that's what I feel whenever I watch the PV Marinette a.k.a Bridgette. XD
