4/13/20 - Easy Winners by Scott Joplin is today's Home Quarantine Piano Recital piece of the day. As probably most of you have figured out by now, the Violin is my primary specialty musical instrument and the Piano is my second instrument. While I was a Music Major Student at California State University, Long Beach, with a specialty of Violin, I spent most of my practice and performance time on the violin, but somehow still managed to still keep up piano lessons on the side outside of school with private Piano Lessons with the late Piano Teacher Mrs. Patricia Cinco. All this on top of having to study and do assignments for the rest of my University classes. I am so glad I worked hard during my 4-1/2 years as a Music Student at CSULB, because now I have strong music skills on two musical instruments to enjoy for a lifetime! So thankful for my Parents for supporting my musical endeavors since I was nine years of age. They started me on Piano lessons, but I personally chose to study the Violin! Music is truly the gift of a lifetime, and I am grateful that I have been able to pass the gift on through Teaching Music and Performing!
