If we've hung out lately, chances are I've told you about how much I absolutely love my church, the Long Beach Dream Center (@longbeachdc)! It's the most welcoming space I've ever been to & we serve the community through faith in a tangible way. Our motto is "find a hurt & heal it, find a need & fill it." We do everything from blessing families in need with Thanksgiving dinners, giving away 200+ bikes to kids for Christmas, to providing quarters at laundromats. Our main center in LA has a free recovery program/ housing for those struggling with addiction, does regular outreach at Skid Row, & so much more. It's miraculous how many lives are restored through the Dream Center.
