I stare out into the black Trying to glimpse the shore Of that endless sea Praying to a god I’m not sure is only me I’m exiled to those whispers Where forgotten promises once lined the shore
A repetition of memories edited Piecing the changing landscapes
“it’s you and it’s me” Whispers the hidden depths of the sea
As the writing etched in sand Freely fades to black To evoke what was borrowed
From the reach of crazy sorrow. Let me forget about today Until Tomorrow.
