I found this by coincidence, and I thought I share it with you. Sometimes I forget how many different people participate in the creation you could call the internet content brain - this is an elderly German lady that sings the odd karaoke song once in a while on her channel (that’s why she has that, well, interesting lilac purpleish background on which it says “Karaoke”).
In this videos however she does not sing, but she reads quite a nice poem which is called “the paradox of our time” and says something along the line of “we have high buildings, but low tolerance. we consume more, but have less. we have bigger houses but smaller families”.
why i’m posting it is, that I think in spite of the ridiculousness of this video design and the far to small bubble in which you can see her and the horrible Comic Sans cursiv Font that says “Karaoke”, what sticks most is her suuuuuper comforting, chill and soothing way of speaking and reading that poem. her other videos are kind of similar, check those out aswell. I’m thinking about dropping her a line and asking her to start an ASMR channel. I think she would probably do really really well! Now without further ado: Enjoy Oma Lonya Grelik’s wise words and beautiful voice.
