Same anon as before. Then based on that assumption, all autistic people have low empathy which isn’t true. Some autistic people have extremely strong sense of empathy. The way you phrased it is that all autistic people LACK empathy which isn’t true either. If we are referring to non-high functioning autism, then it’s more based on the lack on understanding of social cues and understanding than just not caring about others emotions.
What are you actually talking about
Some of us do lack empathy entirely. And what are you doing saying any of that like low/lack of empathy is an evil trait to have AND using weird functioning labels, but calling me ableist over... Stating the existence of an incredibly well known symptom? Seriously. Are you a troll or something. What. Do you know that lacking/struggling with low empathy does not make you a bad person. Do you know that Autism Spectrum Disorder cannot be defined by any label like "high functioning" because everyone On The Autism Spectrum experiences it differently. Are you aware that half of what you're saying is, in fact, incredibly ableist. Like seriously idk if youre joshing me or something but can you not police autistic people talking about legitimate autistic experiences. I dont even remember the last time i mentioned this on twitter. Anyway i hope my fellow low-empathy autistics are doing well this morning
