Looking for an RP FC!

Hello! As the title states I’m currently on the lookout for an active RP Free Company on Balmung for my boy, Takakage, to hopefully bring him some more character development as well as to find active people to play the game with for myself again. :) What I hope to find for him is a long-term rp group in which I might be able to have him take part in others story arcs and ongoing events so as to supplement his growth as a character and allow me to develop his own story further, as he is a character whom needs to make those connections with others for it to move forwards. While I’m not the most confident in my ability to host an event myself, I would absolutely love to for certain points in his story and should there show itself to be enough interest in him for it. As far as who he is; Takakage is an amnesia ridden samurai who is currently traveling the realm in search of his memories alongside his companion, the odder otter Tokumatsu. He makes a living through his proficiency with a blade as an adventurer, though his kindhearted and sympathetic nature often tend to leave his gil pouch rather light. Thus he is always in the search for work, and always on the move.

For those reasons I feel like an active group of adventurers into which he may fit into might fit him best, however that doesn’t mean I’m not open to him joining something else too! Please, if his concept appeals to you and you feel like you might be able to give him a home in your FC I’d be happy to hear you out and figure out how that might work, together! ^^ Now as far as who I am; I’m an EU based RPer with... I wanna say roughly 12 to 13 years of experience I’d say. Hard to tell anymore, lol. Though like many others I’m rather shy and anxious by nature, I try and be outgoing as I can so as to make those around me more comfortable. While my timezone is GMT+3, which means I’m at least 7 hours ahead of most people on Balmung I tend to have a flexible sleeping schedule so attending events usually wouldn’t be a problem. I’m usually available any day of the week so long as I’m notified beforehand, and tend to prefer RP in-game to discord these days (though not opposed to outside it too!). When it comes to my style, I guess you could say I’m a para-rper by nature, however I usually end up mimicking my partners when it comes to 1 on 1s.   With themes, especially for Takakage, my main focus usually lies somewhere between the spectrums of mature, dark and slice of life. While romance isn’t out of the question for his character, it’s not my main focus either.

Personally what I hope to find most in a new FC is mainly people to play the game regularly with again and share the experience, as stated in my opening. It feels like I’ve been playing it solo for years now and its high time for that to change, as I’ve noticed the lack of interaction’s also affected my own interest in it.

I hope it helps as much as possible in reconnecting with the community again and making new friends for myself and Takakage both. Possibly looking for an FC

Due to a certain chain of events, this fine lady here might be in need of a new FC at some point. A brief fill in before I go onto what’s good to me and whatnot. While I’m all up for RPs as much as possible or just plain doing content and getting along with peeps, currently school is taking up most of my time, so I’m fairly active only at nights for raid times and throughout the weekend. So I can’t be a very active member right off the bat etc etc, until this semester is over and vacation starts. If that isn’t too much of a turn off for any possible recruiters, then off to the second point. While I’m the one currently rolling on the concept of finding a new crew to hang out with or help whenever possible, this fine partner may eventually follow along as part of the wombo combo that we are once he’s also more free from his own schedule for school. 

We both Roleplay and really could use a bit more of other peeps to dust off the cobwebs of our repertoire of characters they know, but don’t necessarily demand it to be a part of the FC. Both practically 80′s on everything and half decent crafters and gatherers willing to give a hand if possible. We take a little bit to warm up to people, me sometimes more than him, so slowly easing onto a group or knowing one or two before joining would be preferable. Extra brownie points if there’s a home for us to put all of our accumulated stuff over the years into.

Some might recognize me as the shady flower lady that goes around to give free flowers to peeps that come to me during certain windows. Would be more than willing to share a few corsages here and there to those that would like some for mains or alts.

[FFXIV] Looking for FC: Elaine Laurent

Elaine Laurent Balmung Server - Crystal Datacenter Level 70 Summoner About Me I’m a 40+ year old disabled woman with a lot of free time on her hands and over 25 years roleplaying across various media -- if that means anything to anybody. I dabble in writing, art, photography, and a few other creative outlets.  I’m typically online from 8pm to 8am (Central US) during the early part of the week (Sunday to Tuesday), the latter half of my week and the weekend get a bit haphazard just dependent upon what’s going on IRL.  Elaine is an “alt” if that matters, though I play her the majority of the time right now, I still have a “main” character that I’ve put more time and effort into that I play on occasion. (Though those occasions are rare these days; I mostly log over to craft Elaine gathering gear... XD) What I’m Looking For First and foremost, an active late-night Free Company.  Seriously, if you have 4 people online after 11pm (Central US), that’s not active in the time-frame I’m typically online. I’m a social person, I like having people to talk to, dungeon with, and RP with. (Not necessarily in that order.)  A low-drama environment.  There’s no such thing as zero-drama.  It happens to the best of us, even when we don’t want it.  But I appreciate places and people that try to keep it to a minimum. I log in to the game to have fun and hang out with good people; not watch people bicker and snipe at each other over a video game.  Roleplay is optional, but it must still be generally accepted/encouraged. I don’t want to end up in a PVE group of trolls that think Roleplayers are trash, yanno?    I enjoy groups that like to do dungeons and PVE stuff together, as well as roleplay together.  I have zero interest in military, dark, criminal, villain, or “adult” themed FCs. I have nothing against them, they just aren’t my thing.  ^_^ I also have little interest in groups that have compulsory requirements, be it for PVE or RP (i.e. mandatory meetings or events).  This is not a job; don’t turn it into one. Beyond that, I’m pretty flexible and willing to chip in with ideas and occasional, light RP events. I have no aspirations to take on any kind of leadership role. I just want to be one of the rank and file.

Born during the annexing of Doma and raised in a family whose line has been long filled with war veterans, politicians and public officials. Hyrtsolk Ketenlonwyn led a rather strict, yet spoiled upbringing. Astute, high strung and frequently self indulgent. Her parents extended tough love and a reality check for the young woman - forcibly conscripting her into the ranks as an Architectus to work on Baelsar’s Wall. But little was known that she would experience the calamity that was the Battle of Carteneau.

Hyrtsolk now travels the vast lands of Hydaelyn, continuing her journey to becoming a renowned bioengineer…All the while, her homeland and family is calling for her return.

Aetherical ink tattoo - The shimmering birthstone is adorned with a unique tattoo infused with aetherial ink that helps conduct her aether more efficiently.

Neck scarring - Hyrtsolk has received deep, glaring scars around her neck which presumably look like claw marks.

Garlean Citizen - Hyrtsolk grew up frequently travelling between Garlemald and Doma under the empires rule. Perhaps you were a school buddy - or childhood friend. Maybe she bullied you because you were a filthy Peregrinus!(Slaves and/or people of annexed territories.) Or you had a nice Kimono belt and she decided to ‘borrow’ it permanently. Perhaps friend of the family? We can get some of that pre-established relationship going and throw each other ideas!

Baelsar’s Wall - Hyrtsolk spent her late teens conscripted at Baelsar’s Wall as an Architectus  before the calamity. Perhaps you were work colleagues? Maybe she trod on you and made your life a misery because you were filthy Peregrinus! Again, hit me up with some of that pre-established relationships, thoughts and ideas and see how we get around it!

Femme Fatale - A observing person would ask, where does a woman who lives in a tent, find the gil for such lavish items and an expensive lifestyle? Her secret is to simply get someone rich enough to pay for her. Hyrtsolk has made it an artform seducing rich folk out of their hard earned gil, utilising her natural beauty and silver tongue to acquire a lifestyle unobtainable by normal means with half the effort. Perhaps you were one of her victims? Getting revenge for a friend? Or maybe you were one of her next targets? Let’s get something going~

Travelling - Hyrtsolk lives her life travelling across Eorzea, studying the different locales and ecosystems of hydalen, as well as finding engineers that could possibly share their knowledge with her. She's met a number of characters whilst out on the road and off the beaten path. She could cross you next.

Free Companies

For dear Hyrtsolk here, I’m looking for an FC that might be science and engineering focused, bonus points if it’s a more Garlean oriented FC! Hell, if your FC has a few Garlean role players, I’m more than keen to see what you’ve got going there.

I have an eye out for any FC’s outside of my preferences that might catch my interest. If you know of anywhere, I’m always able to seek them out if you point me in the right direction!

Another big point is, I’m from the UK, so EU friendly FC’s are at the top of the list. Though if we’ve got a 5 Hour timezone difference (Looking at you East Coast) then I’ll be able to take some liberties.

FC Wanted!

I'm in the market for a new FC! My current one is in the middle of discussing dissolution due to inactivity, so I thought I'd put this out here in case people could help!

I'm looking for a small/medium adventuring FC on Balmung, one that wouldn't mind having a friendly bard among their ranks (and maybe a few friends from my old FC). Looking for a Free Company! (Balmung)

First I wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful people who responded to my last post, you’re all amazing! ♥

Second I’m potentially looking for a new FC on Balmung! Something bigger, social and active would be nice but I wouldn’t be opposed to something smaller as well. If you have any suggestions or know of any that might be looking for a friendly Elezen please let me know.

LFRP and FC

Hello, as the title states myself and a friend of mine ( @roses-and-grimoires ) are looking to join a new FC. We’ve been searching for a while now and I figured it couldnt hurt to make a post for it. Getting right into to it there are a couple of things I should mention.

The first being time zones. I myself am currently PST whereas my friend is EST. That being the case I tend to miss EST events by the time I get home from work mostly at 6-7(sometimes 8) pm PST. So while a FC that can accommodate both our differing times zones is ideal an EST centered FC is fine too. Oh and EU times are iffy for them and I wouldnt be able to show for events at all sadly.

On to the RP aspects of what we’re looking for specifically. We’re looking for adventurer/merc FC(s) which are reasonably lore-abiding, with our characters being in that grey area darker themes are fine, and voidsent and/or magic related is a plus.
