Headcanon - Heal Pulse

Heal Pulse is- as the name suggests- a healing ability. The purpose behind it is to help speed up the regeneration process using a very specific vibration frequency.

Domestic Pokémon that know Heal Pulse are relatively rare. League Trainers (and criminals) tend to prioritize offensive moves because it's easier to take the opponent down switfly by knowing a wider variety of types, and because Pokémon Centers often have a few specially trained Chansey or Audino with various healing moves who can restore their Pokémon for them. Rangers might be more inclined to have at least one Pokémon with Heal Pulse if possible, since they're supposed to be able to respond to emergencies both in and outside of cities. Wild Pokémon with the ability Heal Pulse can be more common, depending on the species and their experience. (ex: Wild Alomomola with Heal Pulse are fairly common since they can learn it early on, but Wild Slowpoke, Slowbro and Slowking with Heal Pulse are extremely rare.) 

Heal Pulse affects humans and Pokémon very differently due to the genetic makeup. Thanks to the Pokémon's natural healing factors, using Heal Pulse will not only clean and repair their injuries, it'll also restore their energy, making them look as healthy as can be. On the other hand, using Heal Pulse on humans is bound to leave a lot of scarring since it basically blocks damaged blood vessels and reconnects skin tissue at high speed. Heal Pulse is best used on human injuries only as a last resort or emergency treatment if reaching a hospital on time is not possible. (Addional note: if Heal Pulse was used on a human that was bleeding out, it is still imperative to bring them to a hospital for potential blood transfusion since the ability can prevent the injury from bleeding further, but can't restore the lost amount of blood.)

However, Heal Pulse can be used on both Pokémon and humans to steady heartbeat- this is especially useful for people with anxiety/stress or heart conditions. Since Heal Pulse functions through a special vibration frequency, it can be used to force the heart back into a steady rhythm.

Heal Pulse should never be applied to the brain area unless the Pokémon has undergone special training and is officially, legally certified by Pokémon Centers to do so. Things can go wrong regardless of where Heal Pulse is being applied to, but the brain is considered an especially sensitive area and the tiniest mistake can cause unpredictable and irreversible damage if not done properly.

Headcanon - Bel's opinion on Villain Teams

Just because I saw that post going around about RPing with villains tbh

Rocket - Fuckers that keep coming back like godsdamned [insert Pokémon equivalent of cockroaches here] Aqua - Very passionate about environmental issues. Friendly so far? What do you mean they're considered ecoterrorists, nobody told me?! Magma - Equally passionate about environmental issues. May or may not have sticks shoved a little farther up their asses than their counterparts, though. Not sure. What the fuck did you guys even do to be wanted by Interpol seriously Galactic - How have I not just killed you all yet I swear to Arceus- Plasma - Rood and the girls have everything under control. ♪ - How do you decide on your muse’s dialogue?

As far as speech pattern goes, in the very beginning (back when I started asklooker) I used to take these steps into consideration:

Just type out what you want him to say normally

Remove all the contractions (It's become It is, Wasn't becomes Was not, for example)

Transparent words and weird idiom translations are a yes

Flinging random yes and nos at the end of a question is also cool

This was how Looker spoke back in Platinum- in XY he got better and started using contractions a lot more. The part about him mixing/mistranslating words and idioms is mostly easier to me because I'm trilingual and fairly guilty of it myself, so it ends up being less having to think about it and more just dumping my own confusion in there because it still fits XD

Of course, I've had Bel as a muse for almost two years now. At this point, I can probably admit that I skip the whole "type out normal response" and just directly type things out Looker-style without thinking about it.

☎ : List three or more people they would call out for during an emergency.

Jenny, Emma, Neo, Anthea, William, Richie, Ford, Shamie- in no particular order, but depending on his location or the situation itself he'll be more inclined to call whoever is most apt at helping him out.

Being able to undress in front of the other without hesitation or discomfort is probably the number one sign that he trusts you unconditionally. He takes the metaphorical 'lowering walls' and makes it into something more literal by removing his clothes- to him, showing his scars is visually confessing all of his fears and insecurities and overall just offering himself at his weakest.

You want to make him love your forever? Scratch his head.You want to bribe him into doing something for you? Scratch his head.You want to make him go to sleep? Scratch his head.

Just spoil him to death and he'll make it his personal goal to return twice as much.

Tease or threaten him about any of his fears. He knows that they can sound a little ridiculous but that doesn't make teasing him about it funny.

Pretty much any form of visual of loved ones dying. Sometimes it's a passing thing that just causes him to become anxious, but sometimes thoughts and dreams become more vivid and it's not something you can just shake out of your head. He still has nightmares.

✗ : Explain how they portray feelings of hostility or dislike.

He's not gonna bother hiding it unless he thinks you're potentially dangerous and feels the need to stay guarded- in which case you can still tell if the corner of his lips is twitching. There are few people he actively dislikes, but if he's being hostile for any reason you can expect him to get hissy or snappy. If you're really pushing his patience he might even start making animal-like growls. 

⊗ : What is something that causes them to question themself?

Failure. He always tries to do the most he can and would tear cities apart for those he cherishes, but his best isn't good enough if he can't save the people that matter most to him.

It’s a tiny detail that pretty much everyone would miss, but he never actually uses the word ‘trust’ when talking to others. He’ll use “I have faith in you” liberally, to express that he does trust his colleagues and friends, but “I trust you” is an entirely different level in his mind and reserved for the rare few that he very genuinely trusts unconditionally.

Technically faith is probably stronger than trust but if you wanna blame someone for his really weird perception of trust blame his wife
