if you want to read a wee!j2 au, go read project get jared banged by soulmatecest. they're step brothers in that story, they meet when jared's five and jensen's 10. the story actually happens when jared's 17 and jensen's 22, but there are scenes and references from their childhood. it's a long fic, about 120k, but it's a great read :D

i don't read a lot of kid!fics either but a good kid!fic i read is rainbow connections by felisblanco. it's hillarious, fun, well written and i thought the kids were adorable (i am a fan of little kids though) :)

Well you know my love for professor!Jared/Sam, so I loved this dragonhunter au. It has a really well created mythology and great description of traditions, with a side of magic:
