Cherepaha’s Questions: 1. Would you rather be in extreme heat or extreme cold? Extreme Cold, it is so much easier for me to warm up than to cool off. I need to move further north once I get the chance. 2. What does the word “home” mean to you? Home is enough friends or family members to feel comfortable in a building with strong familial ties. 3. What’s the meaning behind your Tumblr url? I ran a comic called Out of Character Comics on Keenspace which I still draw little things for, but since I want to branch out I decided to call it OutofCharacterProductions. 4. What is your favorite quote and why? “Have no fear of perfection- you’ll never reach it.” –Salvador Dali. Not sure if Dali was being pithy or trying to be inspirational, but I’ll take it as inspirational. Heck of a lot better than my other one, which would have been “Wherever you go, there you are.” –Buckaroo Banzai. 5. How long does it take you to get ready in the mornings? Between 15 and 45 minutes depending on how fancy I want to be. 6. Favorite TV/movie/video game/ etc. character and why? Scrooge McDuck or Daffy Duck. Scrooge McDuck, love “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” and “Duck Tales” growing up, and I was aware he had been in some comics with Donald thanks to my Donald book collection. Then, I was introduced to Carl Bank’s comic during High School and learned why I loved those shows. Daffy Duck, I have always been a fan of Mel Blanc’s voice acting and I firmly believed Daffy was his best character. I also love the current run, because Jeff Bergman has taken everything that Mel did and expanded on it. 7. If you had to make 1 song your alarm for the rest of your life, what song would it be? The Picard Song by DarkMateria. It wakes me up because it is loud, syncopated, and is easily distinguishable from background noise. 8. Top 3 role models can be fictional or real: Chuck Jones, Jimmy Carr, and Bob Hope 9. One piece of advice for a newborn, what is it? “Get messy; make mistakes; take chances.” X. If you could learn how to do one things what would it be? Teleport; save a lot of gas money that way. 11. Is that the sun coming up? Or is it just you lighting up my world? THE SUN! BLAST IT! Labrattish’s Questions: 1. If you could do anything with your life, what would you do? Animate, draw, voice act, and teach; three down and one to go. 2. If you could only read (or watch) one genre of books (or films), what would it be and which would be the easiest and hardest to never have to see again? I would have to say if I could only read or watch one genre, I would pick fiction. Easiest to give up, would be Magic Eye books and the most difficult would be instructional manuals. 3. If you could give a guaranteed 3 season renewal to any television series, which would it be? Adventurers by Matt Gardner 4. If you could eliminate a season of the year, which one would we never see again? Allergy season 5. Sith, Jedi, or Trekkie? I like all three, but I know more about Star Trek than either Jedi or Sith code or Star Wars in general. 6. If you could be any superhero (or a new incarnation of a hero), which would you choose and why? Nightcrawler, I have always empathized with him, adored his powers and skills, and what Italian boy doesn’t dream of being Pope at least once in his life. 7. What’s your favourite animated movie? Duck Tales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp. I tried to think of something else that wouldn’t make me sound like a pillock, but I just love this movie more than anything. Rip Taylor, Christopher Lloyd, and Alan Young as my other favorite cartoon character, Scrooge McDuck. 8. If you could, what subject would you make mandatory in school (any level of your choosing)? I’d add the graphic novel to literature courses. Heavy ones like “Watchmen” or “Maus”, maybe some excerpts from “Calvin and Hobbes.” 9. If you could live in a video game universe, which one would it be? Poke’Mon 10. If you got a job at Disney World as a character actor/actress, which one would you be? Scrooge McDuck 11. If you could move anywhere in the world and instantly know the language and be set for life, where would you move? Japan or France, one of those animation greats. Questions for my tagged! 1.
