Looking at Rick guiltily over the covers of her duvet, Tessa nodded her head but since she cannot lie especially with Rick, she shook her head quickly right after. "I'm okay," She croaked, her self control failing her when she started coughing once again. It has been three days, she had been staying in bed for three days while Maddy forced her to eat something. "Maddy told you to come?" She asked Rick raising her brow as he sat on the foot of her king-sized bed. She wouldn't be surprised that her older sister called Riccardo Maddox to force her to eat and see the family doctor. She has been coming in and out of her room nonstop ever since Tessa got sick. Rick might be a worrywart but her sister was the same thing as well, they are both protective of her. 

Tessa sat up from her comfortable bed, her hair probably all over the place, and she haven't washed it in a couple of days. "I look awful so don't stare at me," She covered her face before sighing deeply, just by the looks that Rick was throwing at her, she knew that she should just listen to him and her older sister. They are both stubborn as hell but they want the best for her, she knows that ever since. "Okay, come on, don't give me the cold-shoulder, and that awfully cute pout because I might kiss you and I’m sick and you cannot be sick as well so, I promise to go to the doctor tomorrow. I just ----." Rick didn't even let her finish as she swooped her into his arms while telling her that he will bring her to the doctor today.

Popping a handful of Cheetos in his mouth, Alexander was unaware that his girlfriend came sneaking into his pad's entertainment room to surprise him. But instead of him being shocked that she came and visit, Maddy was the one who was surprised when she caught him watching the latest episode of Game of Thrones when she specifically told him to wait for her. "Guilty as charged?" He told her raising both of his arms into a surrendering position, she was visibly not happy that he started watching without her. "I'm sorry, babe," He told her in a dragging and tired voice, his arms hooking on her hips to pull her towards him. "We can watch it again?" He suggested raising his brow, resting his head on her stomach, closing his eyes, working was just eating him alive and Maddy and he were not spending much time together since she was busy as well.

"I'm sorry," Alex repeated when she didn't say anything, he pulled her towards his lap, brushing the hair off her neck and kissing her that spot tenderly. "My God, I missed you," He mumbled closing his eyes, trying to concentrate on her and not on the sound of the television, not seeing her in a week is far too long. They had been keeping their relationship on the down low ever since their parents knew about it after they gone a year without talking to each other. Rekindling things and taking it slow was what's the best option for them. He smiled at her and when she finally returned that smile, he pressed another kiss to her neck. "That's something I'd want to see every day." He brushed his finger against her cheek before reaching out for the bag of Cheetos that he discarded earlier, "So, let's begin again huh?"
