( Hey guys, in all seriousness, that first zero-tolerance rule on my blog goes for passive aggressiveness too. If you get so seriously worked up over something that should be a non-issue that you have to reblog things and make thinly veiled negative comments  that are obviously directed at me to make a point or make yourself feel better, that is grounds for unfollow + block.

It’s not even a matter of me being mad or disliking someone when it gets to that point, I just don’t have the time or energy to deal with passive aggression and if you gotta be like that, it’s probably better for both of us if we don’t have to interact with each other. If I need to be the person to take that step to make us both happier in our own space that’s cool, I’ll do it. )

school, actually! i’m taking morning/afternoon classes this year so i think i’ll get more out of it.

11. are you listening to music right now?

a minute ago i was listening to the re:code op. i didn’t like the mix much at first but it’s growing on me! i like the vocals more than in the original version, too. they sound better in general and they’re… slightly less ridiculous even if the monkey line didn’t get axed.

you ever hear a song that’s so overwhelming you gotta just stop what you’re doing and close your eyes while it’s playing? it’s like that. i love it. literally if i'm listening to supermodel in my room while i'm doing something (which i do; ftp is great get-shit-done music) once i get to pf i just stop and lay down and take it in. 

i tend to gravitate toward massive, complex songs with a lot going on and it is exactly that. it balances being cohesive and sprawling, it’s real well-written and exactly the kind of thing i like

i just mentioned how i don’t watch a lot of movies!! but, errrr. i like all of pixar’s films, so that’s a good starting point i guess. toy story 3 and wall-e are probably my favorites though.

about myself?

my hair’s three distinctly different colors, but i’ve discussed that at length and you’ve seen it in person i believe?

i own one pair of presentable jeans. the others are all ripped (or in one case, paint-stained). the presentable ones do NOTHING for my ass.

i can lick my left elbow, but not the right.

34. most embarrassing moment

y’know, i tend to laugh off most moments that would seem embarrassing. although my last audio teacher liked to shame me in front of the whole class for not getting my labs in on time.

i mean i’ve got some awkward moments but it’s surprising what i can take in stride.

36. 3 dreams you want to fulfill?

oh gosh, i have like no dreams. i have goals i want to achieve, but big dreams aren’t much for me. maybe it’s the realist in me.

i would like to someday learn another language well enough to get by in another country. i’m weeb trash and know a little japanese and i know some spanish from high school but i’m not conversational in either.

i wanna learn to play the piano! my fingers are really clumsy at this point and my hands are very small but the piano is like my favorite sound. plus, i mean, it would help with whatever i end up doing in the future.

and a third… i used to dream about going to canada. i achieved that dream. i went to the godless north. all by myself. i’m surprised at myself when i think about that.

gosh, speaking of canada. meeting meli for the first time was huge for me. 

going to see keane in concert and meeting them comes in at a close second.

15. What do you like drawing the least?

i dont like drawing things that i’m not good at haa which include animals, bgs/scenery and very rigid or geometrical shapes like ….  laptops ugh

20. How would you rank your art? (poor, mediocre, good, etc.)

i’d like to think i’m good artist. i know i have TONS more to learn/ things that can improve on… though i can tell i’m constantly improving even if it’s just small things but. i used to be really critical of myself/always putting my drawings down but that doesnt really get you anywhere, you need to learn to have confidence in what you’re doing. i’ve come a long way so yah i think i’m a pretty fucking great artist

24. Do you have a shameful art past? (recolour sprite comics, tracing art, etc.)

ahahaha hell yes ….. when i first started drawing i used to trace A LOT. sailor moon, pokemon, random kawaii animu pics, that kind of stuff. ngl i got called out on it a few times when i started posting my drawings online hahaa good times. though looking back i’m not embarrassed, and it’s not as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. unless of course you’re profiting from said tracing, but most of the people who do it are 14 year old kids on deviantart who are tracing naruto and dont know any better. imho tracing is great way to learn

i dont do much tracing now, unless it’s for my design work [where tracing is %100 acceptable for nailing tricky proportions/perspective ect]… though from time to time i might trace reference photos i take with my webcam if i’m having particular trouble with a certain view/perspective. though what the entails is only really lining up eyes/ facial features
