Autumn Leaf shawl came of the blocking board this morning. I am really happy with how it came out. The little bit of silk in Spirit Trail Fiberworks' Sunna gives it a great drape. Sadly, I think this is the last of the Sunna that I have.
The pattern is from Loop's book 10, but is available as an individual pattern.
It has been a while since I used my blocking wires.
went to the absolutely beautiful yarn shop Loop! i was sooo close to spending £26 on a madeline tosh yarn with little sparkles of copper thread in it, but i realised i do actually have to eat this week so unfortunately i had to exercise some self restraint. lame. such a lovely shop tho!
That little blob of yarn in the center is what is left to knit from when I ripped out. Almost there.
I have done 15 of the 42 repeats for the border of the Autumn Leaf shawl. It's a pretty easy pattern to memorize, and makes for good late night knitting.
Had to do some ripping out on the Autumn Leaf shawl because I didn't know about an errata and miscounting when starting the body. I fixed everything this weekend, and I am back to making forward progress.
