That was the best Mackenzie Dern has looked mechanically boxing in her whole career. Her size, power, and BJJ skills carried her but she looked much improved. Hell, she even shot a couple of double legs that were pretty ok.
Feel for Godinez. She’s making improvements but it’s just not materializing into wins. Can be outbullied on the feet by these big long women who can hit her at range. Her main defense being a double forearm high guard means people are getting multiple free opportunities to just punch thru or around the guard with combos from range. She’s gotten much better with her own hands but range is still a huge problem for her. And it causes her to reset a lot, making it look like she is more hurt than she actually is.
