—— HE HAS quite nearly grown accustomed to pacing the space between worlds alone, save for his staunch companion. truth told, this was how he would prefer it to be -- for a lone wolf is he, and company is nothing short of misery to him. from time to time, curiosity will have him step into a portal, but each venture to a new realm ends quite the same: a strange world with strange people who ask far too many questions of him.
and yet, it would seem today, he need not even foray into one of the blinding lights. it is rare to see another wander the Stargate so aimlessly as he does -- most stumble through and are quick to search for another place with solid ground and some semblance of civilization. but she does not, eyes turned to the twisting clusters of stars as though she had not another thing in the world to do, nor a home to return to.
...as well as he can relate to this, he does not wish to speak to her about the matter. so his gaze remains fixed to the air before him as he charges forward, deliberately ignoring her presence as he marches past her, praying to a god that had long since forsaken him that she will not attempt to apprehend him with inquiries. a plan that would have worked a great deal better had a certain wyvern not seen fit to stop in her tracks, head tilting in curiosity at the very stranger he had hoped to avoid.
