This is a little embarrassing to admit, but I found this bag of fiber a couple weeks ago that the cats had apparently been using as an extra litter box. Oh it was so gross. But I wanted to save it if possible. I can't count how many times I washed and rinsed it, and the water still wasn't clear after the last rinse, but it smells divine. I'm really shocked that I was able to get the smell out, and even more shocked that it smells GOOD after all that. And look at the color variation! I know this is from one of my icelandics, but I don't remember any of them having such intense color variation! I'm currently spinning some alpaca that's been waiting to be yarnified for a long time, but this is definitely my next project. I'm going to spin my first Lopo yarn. Ugh it's going to be gorgeous! #spinningyarn #lopiyarn #icelandicwool #fiberart
