New arrival: Noise Engineering Loquelic Iteritas VCO ! I received it a few days ago and I quickly realized how little I understood of the Percido version I owned a few years ago. In those daysp, I probably lacked the knowledge, the experience and subtelty required to unfold the sonic universe contained in this module. It’s incredibly versatile: Industrial sounds are probably the easiest to achieve but it can do so much more. To my ear, it often sounds like a brass instrument: it’s breathy and metallic, can go from a flute, to Miles Davis muted trumpet kind of sounds to full-on John Zorn’s sax in Painkiller. I did a few experiments using it as the only source for live-looping improvs, and I discovered that, when layered (as if I was polyphonic) it can turn into a music box, a church organ or an harmonica… and more. It’s just amazing. My Basimilus feels less alone know: it stopped howling at night and I can finally sleep much better. . . . #modular #modularsynth #eurorack #Noiseengineering #loqueliciteritas #VCO #newmodule https://www.instagram.com/p/CFabI1YKwiz/?igshid=1mfilg311j0oq
