Vanity: Browhaus Experience
I apologize in advance for the lack of photos because I didn't think that I will blog about my visit to Browhaus awhile ago. Hahaha. The experience was SOOO good that I can't be quiet about it.
Random Story: I didn't know that Greenbelt 5 has a 4th floor. Hahaha! So I was really confused when the address said 4F Greenbelt 5 and actually thought it was in Greenbelt 4. /stupidity alert.
Anyway, first thing I have to say is that the interiors are LOVELY. The door for each cubicle is like a submarine door. The place also has a lot of printed reviews and magazines so that you won't get bored while waiting for your turn.
I won't describe what the cubicle (or mini room) looks like so I'm going to jump to the browhaus experience.
Experience:
I had Browhaus' Classic Threading worth P580. Yes, I know what you're thinking. It's expensive. I could have 5 eyebrow threading sessions at Laybare for that amount. But let me tell you, IT IS WORTH IT. Why?
IT'S PRACTICALLY PAINLESS!! This is coming from a girl who usually tear up after eyebrow threading sessions.
Friendly and accommodating staff.
Knowledgable and Skillful Technician. I asked the technician to make me look more friendly but she said that my eyebrows can't do it because my arch was high. I have to wait for a month so that she could fix it. So I just let her do whatever she can with my eyebrows.
Although I didn't see it (my eyes are closed during the session), I could feel that she was being OC with my eyebrows especially during the clean up (plucking and trimming). I am super happy with the results.

Just in case you don't see the difference, I will enumerate them:
Thinner eyebrows but not pencil thin.
It's not visible in photos but it's not higad thick anymore. I can see some skin underneath the eyebrow. (YAY!)
PANTAY NA SILA. (HAHAHA). My left eyebrow is higher than my right eyebrow that is why I have bangs that cover my left eyebrow so that I could look more friendly XD.
Will I go back?
YES! I want the technician to make my eyebrows look more friendly. Hahahaha. So yes, I will come back and have other services done (I'm looking at the lash curl up and upper lip threading). XD

I bought a toaster yesterday~! I am in love with it but I have to part with the toaster because you're going to be a gift for my friend's wedding. Hahaha. I WILL buy my own pop up toaster when I have my own place >D

First Photo: Pesos and Sense in YT. When this aired... I couldn't watch it since it's on Saturday mornings. Thank God they have a YT channel. I always had this mindset of saving/investing while I'm still young so I could be "rich" so I have a savings account and a Citisec (online stock broker) account which I hardly use after I sold my SMC stocks XD. I used to do Forex but damn... my heart died and lost A LOT of money after earning 30% (Stupid decisions. Mostly did USD-EUR, USD-GBP and USD JPY). I won't go back to Forex. Never again. Hahaha.
Anyway, Pesos and Sense is a super friendly way of learning about investments. Unlike in college wherein we were taught nosebleed math and nosebleed terms, Pesos and Sense uses situational examples, everyday comparison (like comparing stocks and mutual funds to a private car and jeepney) and simple terms. Huhuhu, I wish Aya (the host) was my prof in my finance classes.
It will help you understand investments but don't expect it to teach you tricks like which specific stock to buy and so on. I dunno. Maybe it's on the later episodes. XD
Second Photo: This one is an e-book about digital marketing. Basically, I really need to learn this one because it's a growing (young) practice and it's unpredictable. Even the course about e-marketing wasn't that extensive. It only defined forums, FB, Twitter, Youtube. I didn't learn anything new. I actually learned more from the @KISSmetrics blog
Anyway, I haven't finished reading this one but let me say that this book is a super easy read. It won't bombard you with adver lingo. So far, so good. Will finish this one tomorrow or on Monday XD.
So the saying is really true. You'll miss being a student once you graduate. I really didn't believe this while I was still a student and say that I won't miss this, I won't miss that. Now, I take back the words that my 16-20 yr old self said. I miss school T_T
