Viva Catherine Cohen Wainwright

Born February 2nd 2011, Viva is the daughter of Lorca Cohen and Rufus Wainwright. She is also the granddaughter of Canadian muscian Leonard Cohen. Her middle name - Catherine - is in honour of her paternal grandmother, Singer/Songwriter Catherine "Kate" McGarrigle.

In the pictures she is featured with her mother Lorca, her father Rufus, her grandfather Leonard and Rufus husband Jörn.

An actual chart plotting out the McGarrigle/Wainwright/Cohen family trees as of 7 years ago (Martha Wainwright has another child named Frances now). It goes back to Leonard Cohen/The McGarrigle Sisters/Loudon Wainwright III parents, whose names are at the bottom. The latest generations are on the top.

The simple explanation to how these 3 families even have anything to do with eachother:

Kate McGarrigle married Loudon Wainwright & had 2 kids, Rufus & Martha Wainwright.

Rufus Wainwright artifically made a baby with Lorca Cohen - Leonard Cohen's daughter - and so the three families were combined.

Loudon went on to have another baby with Suzzy Roche from The Roches, Lucy Wainwright-Roche. She and her half-sister Martha have toghther released several albums as a duo, calling themselves "The Wainwright Sisters".

So none of y’all were gonna tell me that Rufus Wainwright (the singer of the Shrek version of “Hallelujah”) is GAY???? And that he conceived a child with Lorca Cohen, the daughter of Leonard Cohen (the original singer/songwriter of “Hallelujah”)????????? Y’all really just left that up to the chance that I’d google Rufus after becoming obsessed with one of his non-Hallelujah songs????????????
