What really gets to Lorca Prime, both while he’s trapped in the mirror universe and in exile/hiding and once he gets back, is hearing about this horrible, awful, evil version of himself and knowing exactly how easily things could have unfolded in his universe to have him turn out the same way.

Sure, it’s scary how far his double was willing to take things, but what’s scarier is knowing that he’s one bad day away from doing exactly the same.
