Are there other animal like creatures beside imps? I've been told dogs don't go to Heaven so I was wondering if they at least went somewhere else.

I’d have to do an extensive Beastiary if I wanted to tell you what’s in Hell and where each thing belongs, and even then it wouldn’t be anywhere close to a full list.

Is there a title for those that are related to Sins? Groll is the Sin of Envy so does his wife get a title too, like in the case of the tsar and tsarina or king and queen?

Sin is its own title, and it’s attributed to an immortal entity far more powerful than most demons and angels (Perfections are the same). Marriage to a Sin/Perfection doesn’t give one a huge title other than Lord or Lady, which is usually the go-to title for any above one’s rank. (Think how -san is used for anyone senior you in Japanese)

The only one that has a stick up his ass about his title is Satan himself, who prefers My King or Your Majesty because he’s the damn king and he will not let anyone forget it.

In Groll’s case, he actually married into Hell’s Royal Family, so…his wife’s title is either Princess, Lady, or Her Highness.

Groll’s wife’s name is Lin. She prefers the title Lady unless she’s super mad or needs to be Princess of Hell for a bit. And Groll’s preferred title is Lord, as well.

So Groll owns a bathrobe, does he swim in lavapits or is there a hot spring where he lives?

Actually, he lives with his wife inside Satan’s Castle in the deepest circle, where it’s so cold, Satan’s true form is frozen solid.

The castle is equipped with its own massive heating system, of course. And there’s always the large Finnish Sauna just out back. Groll likes to hang in the sauna every once in a while if he hasn’t visited the upper levels of Hell in a few days.

The lava pits are further up in Hell, where it’s much hotter, but if they aren’t used for punishments, they’re more like shared residential pools. Groll is fine going to one sometimes when it’s not too busy, but lots of demons, goblins, and imps like to go swimming in the pits at the same time and it’s a damn nightmare for everyone involved.

I said I would share an OC so here we are~!

This is Groll, a demon with the title of Sin. A Sin is the personification of one of the Deadly Sins (on the opposite end of the spectrum there are Perfections). In Groll’s case, he is the Sin of Envy. He is the director of the Greed Circle of Hell, but usually doesn’t spend that much time there. He’d direct the Envy Circle, but that would make him a hypocrite and he doesn’t want that at all. He’d much rather punish greedy CEOs.

There is a lot to this character, especially his backstory, but that’s the gist of it.

The story he’s involved in is by far the largest I’ve ever had to worldbuild and change. Groll is a relatively new character to that story, but the catalyst to the latest massive change.

His simple design was based off of the Urie Demon from Emperor’s New Clothes, so you have Panic! to thank for this OC.

And yes, he does have wings (large, grey-feathered ones) but they’re annoying and cumbersome and “they knock into literally everything”, so he keeps them tucked away.
