*kisses forehead* Small smith, it is time to rest. You've been working all day.
Annatar jumped and squeaked. “B-but,” he stuttered.

“Will you please come out of your bedroom… I know you’re probably not comfortable with the amount of space after what you’re used to, but please try…”
Annatar looked up at the Vala and blinked to remind himself that his was not Melkor he was looking at. This was his brother. Manwë won’t hurt me, he told himself. He is kind. He means well.
He thought of his warm, cozy room - dark with the curtains drawn - and remembered the overpowering brightness of the rest of Manwë’s home.. “No thank you,” he whispered. “Please let me stay in here.”

Annatar slowly stepped from behind the basement door, hearing Melkor walk away and leave his brother in the kitchen. Even though Melkor had told him they all knew he was here, he was too scared and desperate to care anymore. Certainly Manwë would help him? He could work for him in return, anything for his freedom. Returning to his parents would be too painful.
“Manwe?” he whispered. “Please help me.”
Manwe;
❝Is there a reason you have come to poke me fair Maia?❞ Manwë asked, looking down to the Maia that had poked him.
Annatar smiled up at the Vala and shrugged. “No,” he offered with a shy smile. “I just wanted to visit.”

I totally didn’t make a Manwe blog.
