*Insert Witty Title Here* || Siri & Adrastea
Cold.
Wet.
Eyelashes fluttered against porcelain skin, wishing the sensation of icy stings away as she tried to find some kind of peace out of the night. When the feeling persevered, Sirilene gave up with a sigh, eyes finally opening to reveal an annoyed shade of blood orange taking up residence in her irises. It wasn’t unusual, to her at least, for her orbs to change colors so sporadically with her mood. If she had any friends, or any family left, she might just have said it was a great way for others to read her like an open book.
But she didn’t.
Alone, and clueless in the world, she focused just on staying alive. This seemed to mean consistent movement, never slowing down, just going and travelling and...Usually she wouldn’t be able to tell where she was. Even now, looking up at the signs covered in ideograms, she was only able to narrow the possibilities down to being somewhere in Asia.
Figures.
After all, she had decided to hop a boat, having ran her way through just about the entirety of the US. Her pursuers had been sensing a pattern. There was only so much evading you could do before the other team caught on.
“Not about to be a lab rat. Not today.” She grumbled to herself as she ran her fingers through the soaking wet tendrils of reddish-brown hair, a brilliant orange in normal circumstances, though her wolf form was black and only showed hair color through what could be labeled as flames on her paws.
After a moment of contemplation, and a sudden chill she hoped wouldn’t be cause for cold, it became apparent she needed to actually find shelter.
Not that a girl spending a night against a wall wasn’t obvious or anything.
Or that a wolf wouldn’t get shot or drugged.
Reaching down she grabbed her bag, throwing it over her shoulder and ducking her head to start working her way through the masses. Finding anywhere peaceful would be a task in itself.
