While others panicked about the odd event taking over the kingdom, Celine had been out in the depths of the ocean, riding the waves and chasing away schools of fish as she tested her new strengths. It was something of a delight, exploring her new form, learning what her limits were. Aside from a dreadfully sore core, she had few complaints about her new tail, which cut through the water with a powerful ease. This was a decided upgrade from her usual swimming abilities, and she planned to take advantage of it where she could.
From beneath the water, she spotted the hull of The Sea Rose floating in the open ocean. Celine spiraled upwards, leaping from the water to take hold of some spare rigging dangling off the side of the boat. It took some effort, to pull herself high enough above the water to regain her legs, and even more to scale the side of the boat. But the thought of seeing the look on Bohai’s face when she showed up in the middle of the ocean was far too enticing.
Hopping over the railing, she padded along the deck in bare feet, stealthily sliding her way towards the captain’s quarters as she had on previous visits. Celine didn’t knock, grinning as she made her way towards the shadowed figure by the desk. “Hello love. I was just in the neighbourhood and thought I’d drop by. You’re awfully far from the port town, dear.”
