I REALLY REALLY REALLY WISH WE’D SEEN MORE OF LORD DEATH’S PARENTING !!!! a lot of my perception of what lord death was like as a parent actually comes from his interaction with justin law, surprisingly 

justin is someone who clearly wants attention from lord death and obviously idolizes him but lord death kind of? ignores justin for the most part. it’s probably different with kid since kid is his son but given that he so casually ignores someone who wants his attention i can’t imagine that he’d be entirely attentive as a parent

he definitely makes dad jokes tho. and he loves his small son a lot. he’d try to be a good dad to kid where he could, even if he’s often inattentive and kid is so diFFERENT from him. kid is so much more human than lord death and i think that’s probably because he’s been spending so much more time among them as a small

soul gets the most disgusting burger on the menu and a bunch of chicken nuggets EVERY TIME. if he’s not alone he’ll make someone else order a happy meal so he can nab the toy. he pretends he’s above wanting cheap plastic trinkets but he is ABSOLUTELY NOT.

crona gets chicken nuggest, fries, and ice cream. they dip their fries in their ice cream because they are the exact kind of person to think that disgusting concoction is delicious. 

maka gets a cheeseburger and steals fries from everyone because she’s too proud to order extra fries for herself.
