Doubly so if she can’t remember how she got there for the first five minutes.

She’ll spend whatever recovery time she’s given analyzing and criticizing every choice that landed her in bandages (or slings). After that, she’ll spend at least the next week intensely honing whatever kick, punch, or sword technique she found to be lacking.

How do you feel about the loss of Tara?

“I didn’t know her, personally, but I looked up to her the same way I looked up to the other Leafwomen my mother worked alongside. I wanted to do good things like them—things that would make the Queen proud. I idolized her. I remember thinking she had such a pretty smile; it was like she cast a light all of her own.”
