My latest fanart!
It’s a cover for LordStone’s Opposite Elements, a pretty great No War AU fic where these two meet under different circumstances than in canon. As it is Sokka and Azula, they end up clashing and struggling, both with their feelings and with the complications that exist, even in this No War AU, for their relationship.
Most of it was done in SAI, but I played around with Photoshop for secondary effects. The scene depicted at the center is directly taken from their first kiss in that fic, the two of them clashing like that is based on their confrontation in chapter 34 (it takes place during the fic’s Day of Black Sun, hence Azula had no fire and had to fight with swords).
