It’s genuinely not a bad moment if he and Normie had like, talked about him being Spider-Man, which would be kind of a big deal for multiple reasons like Normie’s relationship with his grandfather and also his Spider-Man doll beheading phase. Especially since I have a hard time believing that, without some kind of conversation to the contrary, Normie would know without either Liz or Harry knowing again. So now I’m just sitting here with this like What Does It Mean.

Granted, now that you’re saying this I also realize I think Dylan Brock has probably seen his face but like............ whatever. Eddie already took his little Venomspawn straight to Peter’s doorstep anyway.

Absolute Carnage was maybe just very bad at handling secret identities.

I want to say Rex was just bullshitting to make Eddie question how much he really knew. Because Flash also asked Venom for his name and they never told us and he kept using Venom in the next scenes, implying that he liked the name Venom, or never had one prior.

Rex, being an ancient elder symbiote, fucks with Eddie is like a parent asking the boyfriend a trick question to test if the boyfriend truely loves their child lmao.

I had a question relating to fic authors and the beta readers. Can we sign up if we have beta readers we already use and trust? And if one of my beta readers also wanted to join as an author would that be allowed? I guess what I'm asking is if we could both join and beta each other's fics? Or do the beta readers have to be ones that signed up? Or if we could use our own as long as they're not signed up for another role?

We ask that authors have their fics beta read before publishing, and while we do offer beta readers you do not have to use ours. If you have a beta you trust, you’re more than welcome to continue using them for your work. You can also have more than one beta if you’d like to utilize our betas, but that is optional. 

Your beta reader definitely can join as an author! We have no limit on how many roles one person can take on, as long as you know your limit. If someone wanted to sign up as an author, artist, beta, story coach, and a pinch-hitter that would be allowed. 

If you both joined as authors and beta readers, you’re more than welcome to select each other as betas! Betas are picked by the author from a list we provide, but again, if you have a beta who is not signed up, you do not have to choose from the list.

It’s been a favorite fan theory of mine that he has been setting up the events that lead to his own freedom for years. He put things in motion knowing they could go wrong, or they could go right. And a lot of it hinged on Corvo being above his anger and revenge and sparing Daud. It relied on Daud letting Billie live. It relied on a whole lot of forgiveness. Which is something he’s watched humanity lack for thousands of years. Maybe that’s why he seemed so genuinely-

- shocked that Corvo spared Daud in the end. Because he probably truly believed that the outcome wouldn’t happen. And that it also meant one more piece had fallen into place for his eventual freedom. It’s interesting to think about, because so much of his plan hinged on humans forgiving and humans letting go of hate or revenge. Even all the way up the final choice to spare or kill him. He left it up to a human and he left it up to kindness, forgiveness and a bit of hope.

YESSS!!!  ALL OF THIS!  i’ve been thinking about this since i’d finished all the 3 games and stuff

the whole chaos system, even people like Granny Rags.  everything’s connected.  The Outsider pulls a thread here adds a yellow thread there, maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t.  The Outsider has nothing but time.   You think he’s going to sit in the Void and twiddle his thumbs for 4000 years?   Maybe he gets his revenge on the Cult that created him, maybe he’s bored, but I bet he for sure plays the long game because time is an element he has an abundance of.  He’s not only trapped in the endless Void but a sea of time, all by himself.

l. Memory // 6. “We still have tomorrow.”

In this world, every night could be their last. Every day could be the one that all of it goes howling into the Void. They try to guard against it, of course they do. Patrols, guards, scouts scouring every inch of the city. Most of the time, they try not to think about it.

And then, some nights, it’s all Daud can think about. Nights that he buries his face in Corvo’s neck and tries not to hold on too tight, as if Corvo can’t read him like an open book. As if Corvo isn’t thinking the same thing.

“We still have tomorrow.”

It’s a reminder, it’s a benediction, and sometimes it’s a vow. It’s whispered into the dark at the end of another day, the words rendered into kisses, sighs. They still have tomorrow — another sunrise to meet, another chance to make their mark upon the world when the turning of it seems so slow that change seems likewise impossible.

It’s the making of a memory, to ward them against fear and the Void itself.
